Imagine taking out a £1k loan to buy a sofa and agreeing to secure your whole home against that loan. That's what Duncan did. Wow.

It's unjust that he escapes having to face the public.

His focused and diligent team (for whom he two days ago was seeking an increase in remuneration) could not between them ascertain that they were in breach of the Oxford loan - Duncan, of his own volition, had signed up to that relatively paltry loan and secured it against the entire asset base in event of default. When you do that, you have to be extremely careful in your planning to ensure that you do not even come close to breaching any of the aforementioned terms. To leave it until the evening of the day before they appoint administrators to ask them to exercise flexibility and discretion, is, well, anything but focused and diligent.

This chap ought to provide an explanation to the poor retail shareholders on here who he has essentially allowed to be fleeced through what can only be described as gross incompetence.

I guess the AGM is cancelled now and Duncan is on a flight to the Bahamas for a well earned rest. For all of 2021 they didn't release any news of note, wasted money and effort on a NASDAQ listing. When your CEO can't even bother to shave for a presentation you know something is wrong.

Oh look stonerRJ, who was one of those aggressive posters who knew it all and rubbished everything I said.

The moment posters start getting aggressive when you state the obvious is the time to run for the hills. These people are professional lobbyist who are trained in following an agenda. I've no doubt now that this was set up to fail. A poxy loan of $12.5m has put this co into administration. Nah something doesn't quite sit right. The NAsdaq 20m volume with most of that being shorts, again another red flag.

I've seen this aggressive posting before, usually on stocks that wipes out the PI.

Feel sorry for everyone in here. I used to invest a lot in bios, partially as it’s my field and I thought I could understand it better than everyone else. Had an occasional win, but Alizyme, Ark, Scotia, Ardana, Xenevo, Cenes, phytopharm, and numerous others all went to the wall losing me 100%. All followed similar pattern of over ramping prospects with little major pharma backing. Promised myself never to invest in the sector again which may have saved me here.

I'm not a blatant fra_ud who fantasises BoxerMugz sorry Mahmood, unlike yourself who tried deceive others on the Pires thread, remember you silly mug!

...But the offers still open if you want to see how the 'Other' type lives, at my expense of course instead of all that fantasising you seem to transmit daily!

Stay away from Nano/Micro Caps currently especially those with any impending funding shortfalls and dont listen to the blatant rampers as they'll invariably be selling while your buying and very best wishes to you too!

It could well be -

And I'm sure, more info will come out sooner or later

I do feel for shareholders here as it is "rug_pull" -

The way things are going focus on highly capitalised companies that can weather this storm brewing -

Good luck -

Someone listed all the red flags they would now look out for in their future investing decisions.

A BIG marker for me will be:

A lack of quality on the shareholder register.

Just about the only named individual we ever had promptly sold stock BACK INTO THE MARKET (the capitalised statement is significant in itself) over a period of many months.

Its definitely not happened overnight buddy and there must have been some ongoing concerns from OF which it seems the management didnt quite accomodate adequately but I think ultimately theres been very little regard or even integrity from management towards investors here and over a period of time...

Very unfortunate circumstances but every sun has a silver lining so if there is any karma left in the world, there will be plenty of opportunities ahead to redeem yourselves so dont be too hard on yourselves either hey!

One_Frankel.. -

The risk of a "rug pull" would of still been unusual -

I'd like to see why Oxford were in such a hurry, as per discussion the previous day and rug_pull the next -

Looking @ it further, its very unusual for a "rug pull"..

That's it really -

Whichever way you look @ it shareholders were not given that opportunity -

For once Stoner we agree - I'm shocked at the decision by Oxford - must be more to this.

I too was fully expecting a placing until YasX provided the 2021 covenants earlier Tom, then I quickly realised that 4D was in dire straits and there was very little chance of any bid.

They gave Oxford the keys to the company. Quite a swift decision by Oxford to call in the administrators following the late approach by the Board. It would be interesting to know if Oxford had form for such. But from both sides there is a whiff of shenanigans.

One_Frankel -

It looks like it.

"It will be taken out privately for pittance and those costs involved will be absorbed with the process, whatevers left will be inconsequential to the common shareholder unfortunately..."

Its is difficult one for shareholders as it seemed unlikely to occur. We knew a placing was likely but that was not given a chance or they simply missed the opportunity considering current status quo in the markets...

Ohh play the other fiddle Stoner, you are simply deluded and continued to state OF was absolutely sufficient to requirements when 4Ds most recent annual accounts provided a very telling picture to its sustainability but in future delve a little deeper with your research as its all there in black and white if you care to look away from all those delusions of grandeur!
