23/4/2007 12:55 | Hello AB. I am sure I wont regret buying either. Just have to keep that new AM on the radar!. ;o) | ![]() share_shark
23/4/2007 12:50 | Well done s_s, you wont regret it. Come the EGM this will be like a thoroughbred on a tight rein which has just been let go. | alwaysbanking
23/4/2007 12:45 | All I can say is that I am VERY pleased that I sold my PCI last week to buy these and then bought more again this morning. ;o) Good luck all. | ![]() share_shark
23/4/2007 12:17 | i suppose it is possible that the extra 10% could go to the highest bidder as they have already said there are 10 pharma`s interested. Iam sure there is alot going on behind the scenes at the present time. | ![]() doc robinson
23/4/2007 11:34 | just bought in (again). whether long or short, think this is as safe a bet as you could hope for at the moment with all the interest from industry you'd hope at least one solid deal could send the share price through the next resistance point. | philipsaxon
23/4/2007 10:54 | Daily Telegraph Market report: Last Updated: 12:59am BST 22/04/2007 Outside the top flight, biotechnology company SR Pharma rose 3¼ to 88p on talk it could be working on a collaboration deal with a pharmaceutical company, which could see it taking a 10pc stake in the group. It is thought the pharmaceutical business would pay between 90p to 110p for its stake, but this will not be unveiled until after Thursday's extraordinary general meeting. | alwaysbanking
23/4/2007 10:44 | AB They have been fairly specific in the shareholders letter which said that the equity issue was required to enable large pharma's to take a stake in SPA. I would guess we could expect an update with regard to timing and perhaps whether it will be one party or several taking a stake. | ![]() buzzzzzzzz
23/4/2007 10:44 | buzzzzz- didn't you say that in January? ;0) Although i wish I had done as you said now re selling the other and buying this! Oh well i have to sit on the sidelines and watch the game unfold as i have no boots. Bloody aim gambling. | sawbones
23/4/2007 10:32 | Buzz, with the recent spate of buying and the increase in sp, there maybe some hint of what will come at that EGM, if not at the meeting then very soon thereafter. | alwaysbanking
23/4/2007 10:29 | One word of caution. Nobody should expect a significant announcement at the EGM ie these shares are being bought by Pharma X. Share holders may well be updated on progress or given an indication of when deals maybe concluded. But I would expect something to happen within a month! | ![]() buzzzzzzzz
23/4/2007 09:16 | AB Spot on. I am not convinced that the whole 10% is going to go to one party. They are talking to several majors, one or more will be upset if they are ignored. If the 10% is spread more than one way it will get intersting! 100% agree with you about the Pasta, Tizer and Paxo scenario!!! Look forward to that lunch! | ![]() buzzzzzzzz
23/4/2007 09:12 | rrb, I agree maybe a strong buy - the next move now is to 92.5 once that has been broken then £1 is on course - Someone is mopping up all the sells which shows that someone is accumulating all the surplus stock - interesting. I expect a 180k (parts or whole) buy imminently to cancel those two big sells. | alwaysbanking
23/4/2007 09:02 | I think it is still a BUY given any bid will not be less than 150p | rrb
23/4/2007 09:00 | Buzz, I'd love to take you up on lunch providing its on me. This share is getting quite exciting. Can you imagine the scenario where a ONE Major Pharma takes a 10% or so holding in Pharma and if it is like rumour is saying that it may be a company rhyming with Paxo, then how will a company that has invested in Pharma which rhymes with Tizer feel - add that together with another major rhyming with Pasta Eureka and the one and only independent SR Pharma may not be independent much longer than Wednesday. Bid battles and takeovers are strong on this one. This share is a HOLD imho. Great times ahead and good luck to all. New Money, strong support, positive indicators and maximum confidence. | alwaysbanking
23/4/2007 08:29 | Seen it!! Yours I take it? | ![]() buzzzzzzzz
23/4/2007 08:23 | Look for a 45ooo buy. | ![]() share_shark
23/4/2007 08:15 | Houseprices Sell and you will regret it. You obviously don't understand whats going on here. From your previous posts I label you a ramper and your previous have been designed to get the price up so you can take a quick profit. | ![]() buzzzzzzzz
23/4/2007 05:02 | shield didn't have major pharmas interested in buying it..or have a like for like competitor, who was bought out for nearly 6 times the share price [assuming sr are £1]nor did they have [potentially] 4 products for huge markets. it's also my understanding that sr have turned down approaches, far higher than the share price currently stands. | graham browns dad
23/4/2007 00:15 | £1quid by wednesday, should be correct to take some profit there surely? this will trade through to at least the end of the year. i get very worried, even with all these potential suitors, that things get a bit carried away. it's still an infant! come up a long way, remembr shield diagnostics??? ouch!! | houseprices
22/4/2007 20:34 | BUZZ YOU COME ALL THE TIME. | ![]() chicken charlie
22/4/2007 19:37 | LBO Bombers still here but changed name to Buzzzzzzzz as per my ID on iii. You are right lots more to come! | ![]() buzzzzzzzz
