04/4/2007 14:05 | I am soooooooooo tempted to add. | ![]() geoffmanana
04/4/2007 12:42 | Any tax sellers willing to let go of 20,000 at 73.25p would be most welcome right now. TVM.- Filled Thanks very much. | bruce meinhoff
04/4/2007 11:45 | Looking at biotechs of the past,Cantab and the like, major pharmas taking stakes in the minnows is a fairly well established practice and doesn't preclude takeover. As geoffmanana comments,it's a way of keeping a finger on the pulse and costs chicken feed as far as the big players are concerned. By the by,AIM stocks tend to suffer top slicing at the end of the tax year if they've been good performers without enjoying the offsetting inflows of ISA money.Of course ,once everyones been tucked in with their ISA the market often seems to retreat.Last 2 years the market has fallen some 10% over the summer months. | ![]() steeplejack
04/4/2007 08:22 | In my opinion Mike has made a good point. #However as long as we all make loads of dosh,no opinion ventured is wasted. Very good luck all. | ![]() share_shark
04/4/2007 08:20 | Geoff-I think you're right on both counts.Good luck.:-) | texicon
04/4/2007 00:49 | Not sure what you mean Mike. If the directors were discusing takeover details at the moment that were at an advanced stage there is no way they could accept options at 75p or any other price. However if the discusions were at a very early stage that may be different,I don't know. Somehow I feel big pharmas just want a stake in the action for the time being.Just my opinion for what it is worth.I hope I am right because that would mean there is more mileage in the share price as we move forward. | ![]() geoffmanana
03/4/2007 20:58 | Not in my book, it would mean that the options would vest immediately were an offer made and the company taken over. In my experience, that is a fairly standard term for executive stock options. | ![]() mike111d
03/4/2007 20:55 | Director buys-Doesn't that mean no takeovers for the next few months? | texicon
03/4/2007 20:17 | The issue of options and purchase of shares could well be a precursor to further news IMHO. Should be an interesting few weeks. | ![]() mike111d
03/4/2007 19:56 | phil - lets hope it stays like that tomorrow...not the spread that is but the offer!!! | ![]() digger27
03/4/2007 17:23 | any reason why there's a spread of 20p for SPA on hoodless brennan at the moment? to buy its 99p! | philipsaxon
03/4/2007 15:23 | That's a lot of dosh so he must be confident and can't be accused of preferential treatment. Yep roll on next tax year as the mm's seem to marking everything down for the sheer hell of it....most of mine are showing buys outweighing sells but what do I know? | ![]() digger27
03/4/2007 15:08 | The option price of 75p is excellent......norma Roll on next week and into the new tax year. | ![]() geoffmanana

03/4/2007 10:56 | Must be a positive sign. | 3frog
03/4/2007 10:44 | RNS Ian Ross has bought 100000 shares and five directors have been awarded 200000 options at 75p this surely must be good news.i'm surprised this has'nt altered the share price but it wii do when everybody wakes up. | ![]() chicken charlie
03/4/2007 09:46 | I think we need to move into the next tax year before we see another jump imho. Too much profit taking from 16p. | ![]() geoffmanana
03/4/2007 00:26 | Have you been lonely 3frog? Been too depressed to post so went out into the garden for a spot of weeding and left my portfolio to fall on its own without me watching it do so. Lots of mine down today for no reason I can see apart that AIM stocks seem to be so easy to manipulate, not that any skullduggery ever goes on -lol. Probably more of the same tomorrow as mm's use tax year end for an excuse to scare a few more into selling. Not to worry coz I really have faith in SPA to do the business especially as they are talking to 10 companies so wont be long between RNS's I reckon. Rant over and weeding almost done so I shall be out tomorrow if the weather holds. | ![]() digger27
02/4/2007 21:47 | yes geoff, just read it on the tinternet, thx aglenn. | 3frog
02/4/2007 19:23 | Thanks Aglenn.....Is that the London Evening Standard? If so I used to buy that on my way home from work before I retired up here to Norfolk. That should help tomorrow. | ![]() geoffmanana
02/4/2007 18:22 | Artice in Evening Standard tonight about SR talking to 10 companies. Alo mentions bigger pharmas being nterested. Buzzzzzzz I do agree with you....glad I'm in | aglenn
02/4/2007 18:03 | Aglenn Not ramping. Posting facts the were for some reason not put in the RNS. People have sold out at 75p or less and will struggle to buy in at less than that. So they won't be making much profit. Won't be long before we have another assault at 80p! | ![]() buzzzzzzzz
02/4/2007 15:58 | Very true 3frog...still I was hoping for a move towards 80 today...patience not being one of my strong points. Shame I don't day trade because profits could have been taken last week..I got in late at 70p | aglenn |
