04/10/2006 15:18 | Agree ben. The general uptrend is intact. Very encouraging. | ![]() le mass du pap
04/10/2006 14:11 | MER seems to have bounced off a new higher low. May get in soon on a limit buy at 280.5. | ![]() ben gunn
26/9/2006 21:34 | yf23_1 The bottom line is............well the bottom trendline! And if you look at 3 months or 3 years, it's rising. A significant break below this rising support would be worrying, but we are far from that yet. In fact the rising support is quite encouraging and provides a platform for further advances north. Besides that, we have had a seller drip-feeding stock into the recently rising share price Around 65k every day for about a week. That took the edge off any potential rise and swung the balance of power into a negative dive. If it wasn't for that I reckon we would be up around the £3 level. Now they are gone we may see some progress. There certainly is not "something distinctly wrong" with the chart. Go check out most other rising charts, from the start of this year, and you'll see a similar pattern. | ![]() le mass du pap
26/9/2006 20:58 | Like I said before, there is something distinctly wrong with the chart of this share but I cant quite put my finger on it. Gap down today (?) which looks like a clear rejection of the 200 ma. We are still below the 200ma and have been since early MAy. | ![]() yf23_1
26/9/2006 19:01 | Look at the chart and the support bases. You can see that the overall trend is still up and any turn upwards in the share price from around this price would confirm this. | ![]() le mass du pap
26/9/2006 18:35 | Any ideas Simon Gordon? it looks abit weak. | ![]() ben gunn
15/9/2006 20:14 | I wonder if laidlawscott business has already expanded? In the last few weeks, I have seen their vans all over Glasgow. Previously, I saw one out and about maybe once or twice a year. | ![]() mistertibbs
01/9/2006 22:08 | Makes sense. Let's hope so. | tinker
01/9/2006 17:00 | IC think MER will not leave AIM and they should pick up new shareholders when CNT moves to Main Market as forced sellers could buy into MER. | simon gordon
01/9/2006 16:25 | Apparently there's a recommendation in IC today. Anyone got the details? | tinker
01/9/2006 08:42 | I think the FD probably understands the business more than he does the charts | ![]() phillis
31/8/2006 18:56 | I woder what the chartists are saying now. Doesn't look to me as if we're heading in the wrong direction for the gloomies | ![]() mistertibbs
31/8/2006 11:45 | With Connaught moving to the Main Market maybe all the Director selling is for tax reasons and Mears will follow Connaught? | simon gordon
31/8/2006 11:21 | When even the FD sells...... | ![]() phillis
28/8/2006 12:44 | Re : 640 I tried to buy in my ISA with HSBC - same result = not allowed to be held in an ISA | ![]() michaelmcandrew
27/8/2006 19:25 | I've held these for some time as a long-term play, aiming for 400p+ in 2007 and took my eye off the ball for a while. Any fundamental reason why the share price has dipped from over 300 this year - other than general jitters in the market? | ![]() cantata
23/8/2006 12:44 | Does anyone know if these shares can be held in an ISA I bought yesterday but Natwest think they can't they seem to think the dual listing in Frankfurt and Berlin aren't recognised exchanges per the revenues rules Thanks in anticipation | psyko
09/8/2006 15:23 | Trouble at mill....I see support at 166p.....cripes! | ![]() ben gunn
29/6/2006 19:27 | Also suggested by a chartist in shares magazine it should find support for mer at 197p. I don't use charts and would not discount what you say. However, I'm more interested in the facts and the update on 7th June based on facts gives me more confidence than a chart based on assumptions. Only my opinion | ![]() mistertibbs
27/6/2006 19:31 | left shoulder early 2005 | ![]() yf23_1
27/6/2006 19:29 | head and shoulders | ![]() yf23_1
27/6/2006 15:47 | Shareprice looks trapped to me. The intra-day sell -off in early june makes 280p a resistance point so at 270p the reward to risk was just not there. There is now significant risk of breaking support at 255p and heading to 220p to start the formation of a long term H&S. All IMO of course ! | ![]() yf23_1
27/6/2006 09:10 | Is all the above why we are seeing a big drop today? | newby to all this |
