Bid is now up to 12, as usual it'll start to attract more attention as it rises... Agree re astounding potential. It is a truly unique share & incredible that it remains a 16m market cap.

Several things stand out:

- Lock drops : the recent investments in Plasm & Edgeware had no financial cost to KR1, just the opportunity cost of locking ETH away for a period of time. So they are creating significant value out of thin air just from supporting new projects. Their main limiting factor at present is the number of ETH that the hold, if they had 0.4% of supply, as they do with Cosmos & Polkadot, they would have 449k ETH (& $179m!) and could support pretty much anything they wanted to in a big way.

Going forwards, I expect the lock drop model to scale significantly & they can allocate their 1.2m ATOM & 4m DOT tokens between staking & lock drops. Thus by supporting the right projects at the earliest possible stage, they can create huge value without any funding requirement. It may even be possible to earn staking revenue & lock drop at the same time...

- Staking yields : with the addition of Dfinity, Eth 2.0 & Bluzelle to their current Cosmos & Polkadot cash flow, they could be bringing in between £2-5m per annum of cash. Together with the lock drop method, this should mean that they never have to raise capital again. Indeed, it's impressive that they haven't raised in 20 months, and per their RNS's 2020 project related cash flow is positive $841k, easily covering operating costs.

On a medium to long term horizon anything appears possible here, it's conceivable KR1 could be a 100 bagger from these levels; £10 per share being a £1.3b market cap assuming no further dilution. A dream at present, but a mighty exciting one!

Courtesy of Trojan from the LSE bb, The news just get,s better and better

Keld van Schreven, KR1’s managing director, added: “MetaCartel and all the individuals involved are a highly credible and hugely influential community including the best and brightest people, which will serve it well as it grows. MCV may very well serve as a future model on how to manage and govern capital in the future.

Its actually quite astounding when you think of the potential here ,S{P just has to explode NEX platform liquidity issues or not

It’s early day’s but Polkadot‘s value growth since listing is really impressive - at its current $6.10 KR1’s holding is now worth more than $24m, greater the market cap by itself... Amazing that they hold around 0.4% of the DOT supply!

Sp would go to a premium to nav as investors would ignore any concerns over liquidity. It's a no brainer once they get visibility on returns and if share price is not reflecting the underlying

With Polkadot + Cosmos staking revenues forecast to be around £2m per annum at current yields / prices, it can't be ruled out in the medium term. They must already have a decent cash balance given recent profit realisations, I'm sure a good chunk of this is earmarked for re-investment, but a div policy of say 25% of staking revenue would be innovative and incredibly exciting...

Likewise have bitten the bullet at bought some more shares this morning, having considered doing so a few weeks back at 6p...It's even better value now!

The successful listing of Polkadot, growth of the Cosmos valuation & rapid rise of NXM make it a compelling investment alone. The fact we have also have a continuous income stream from Cosmos & Polkadot that is currently forecast to bring in $2.5m in annual revenues is staggering. On top of this staking income we'll soon be able to add Dfinity & ETH 2.0 yield as well.

The fact we're still on NEX is a blessing & a curse at the same time. There is no way you could buy for 12p anywhere else given the recent surge in vaulations, so its an unbelievable bargain. At the same time it's a shame that it cost 1% of your purchase (min £20 / max £50) to buy over the phone via HL, this must discourage a lot from buying. Surely this will change in due course though...

I've had a good look at KR1 in general and in particular the prospects for the DeFi market, and decided to buy a few more shares in the market today. I almost bought more KR1 about 2 weeks ago, and had to pay 50% more today than I would have at that time, but I'm happy that this top up will be a wise move.

Value of just the top 5 holdings currently circa £30m.
Market cap (based on 12p share price) is £15.5m
Surely a wonderful buy at this level, with so much potential for a rerating.

I,m sure all readers on here would agree that both George & Keld keep a modest & conservative outlook on the company,s fortunes and are invariably correct when they do forecast
Once they get the PR sorted ( maybe ditch Peterhouse ) + consider a move off NEX then all holders will be amply rewarded , There is no doubting the BOD,s wisdom within all things Crypto ,Simply Outstanding performance from the leading investments, Both G&K draw a minimal salary and I stand to be corrected but the Team is not that elaborate in terms of numbers so Opex & internal spending is @ a minimum , Imagine the team of analyst,s and clingones that the Big Institutional funds have to financially support ( The Bog paper and mineral water bill probably exceeds KR1 Opex ) to achieve nowhere near the ROI performance that kR1 have achieved within an infantile and highly volatile market
Maybe a few Director Buy,s as Cream on top ???????

I have no doubts these Boy,s are the real Mcoy , They have established connections and contacts years ago with some of the leading crypto platforms which are only now bearing fruit , George & Keld had the foresight . Business acumen and the testicles to back those attributes when crypto & Defi was literally a seed,s ,Just look @ Nexus Mutual,Cosmos ,Dfinity and the astronomical potential they hold for asset growth & Generating revenue , They can be a bit cagey with there market updates but there sector knowledge is second to none and both G & K deserve the adulation and wealth coming there way -
Truth be told, we believe that this is only the beginning. There is so much
more brewing for Polkadot, from technology upgrades to follow soon that will
enable different blockchains to communicate with each other while sharing the
same security guarantees, to further advances in scalability and much more.
Also, the Web3 Foundation and Parity Technologies are not alone with Polkadot.
There is a buzzing ecosystem from A to Z of projects building protocols and
applications on top of Polkadot's technology. Starting with Acala and Moonbeam
tackling the DeFi ecosystem; going on to Edgeware and Plasm that are aiming to
onboard lots of developers with their smart contract and scalability work; and
projects like Interlay or ChainX, pushing to get more and more assets bridged
into the Polkadot ecosystem in various ways

If people can buy 100p for 50p they will find ways of doing it, the company can help close the gap by better pr etc. But moving from nex does nothing for them other than give them more regulatory hassle and costs
