Merryl lynch have received positive feedback from all institutions,so all in all things are loking good in attaining that 90% threshhold.Having said that we all need to register our vote a.s.a.p I know that a very large number of shares will be submitted only a day before the deadline(bloody Jarvis),but lets hope that the threshold will be reached long before this.

hargreave lansdowne seem on the ball re sipps etc...just faxed back acceptance because im pretty sure well over the 90% will be achieved from what i can see so why wait

Jarvis loved it when I told them they were not getting my business because of the reputation they were generating on ADVFN regarding lack of resources to register clients acceptances

Hard to say whats correct,Hoodless want all votes by this Friday,I did ask if it was possible to vote later [because I wanted to rollsome on Monday] and had been told that would be OK.Perhaps some will think they have missed the vote?

Now that we have the trading facility I have already voted.

Just been on the phone to Jarvis Investments once again.They are adamant that they will not respond to individual votes.They will tally them all up and submitt the vote on 29th December.Their excuse is that they do not have the rescources to tally votes up and submitt them on a daily basis.Very dismayed

serratia are you a large holder to warrent a call from IEC. Just curious as to what warrents a phone call from IEC. are they panicking?

I also had a phone call from a lady asking me if I was going to vote to accept. I told her Jarvis hadn't sent me anything.She said she was phoning on behalf of IEC.

Merryl lynch has set up a panel to chase up these idle swines like T Waterhouse and Jarvis.They should be able to register them on a daily basis.Let them work for their money for a change.

TDW are informing me votes to be placed on the 23rd saying it wouldn't be practical to vote for shareholders invidually. Is there any way they can be forced to vote earlier?

SORRY JUST ANOTHER THOUGHT,
I wonder how many have open trades closing between 30th Dec and mid Jan who have thought that they couldnt pledge them but would hang around to see if they could get 12.00?
I alerted my broker immediately to the special trading facility so as he would be able to spread the word and advise where neccesary.

I believe in an RNS from Imperial there is a voting helpline ?
I suggest if anybody feels their brokers are slacking or not conforming they phone this hotline and try and get them to put a rocket up their bums !
