The most likely beneficaries of any oil rounds in Iraq will be Russian and Chinese companies or their satellites. Its perfectly true the Irish have been assidiously cultivating the Arabs, especially Iraq, but Ireland is still seen as a Western country and the West isnt exactly the flavour of the month in the region due to the War in Gaza.

Our only hope is that at some point the BOD have to cash out their 25%/30% equity (their limit) and they don't want to many bucket shop equity raises to dilute their holdings. Though you can actually get an exception to this to own more than the traditional takeover/offer trigger threshold.

The money printer doesn't stop though. There is essentially '0' (no/nada etc..) control or influence we have over how many shares the BOD wish to print for fundraises, the quantum of fundraise or who they give it to or which price. This is why I prefer crypto, its pre-programmed.

Options run out Oct, but they can print more at any point before or after at more or less any value (as bucket shops spread bet firms can dump price to whatever). We just have to accept that.

An announcement was made last year about a Ukrainian getting a contract so i would assume the signing of the contract was just a formality. Was this part of the LR5+ or LR6 licence rounds??

Oil minister inferred a 15 day extension to give the companies more time to work on their tenders with the actual schedule to be updated the week of the 22nd, eg this week.
