In current climate these licenses are likely to be granted very quickly, the Money generated from any `FINDS` will support beleagured currencies.

This is becoming a very strong BUY, Huge bagger on getting the nod for licence.

Could be folks getting bored as news of potential contract awards probably now late Feb/March as per my post (21398) the other day:

"Documents for several concession areas as part of the fifth and sixth licensing rounds will remain available until the end of February, after which the projects will be awarded.

MMs have found another buyer for the 700,000 but clearly with the exercise of all these warrants buyers are understandably not prepared to pay over the odds.

Warrant sellers scalping for for 30-40% profit, uff, sad. Still all warrants taken add cash to the company and it's a 'known' dilution

Whilst the exercise of these warrants has increased liquidity in the shares it has also caused a more even balance between buyers and sellers in the short term

Looks like additional licences being offered in March but existing 5th and 6th rounds won't be announced until end of February now (previously was 'January').

Iraq to offer new oil concession areas in March

Staff Writer, Zawya Projects
2 January 2024 • 11:39

OPEC member Iraq is planning to offer new oil and gas concession areas to foreign companies in March within ongoing hydrocarbon licensing rounds intended to boost its production and reserves, according to the Oil Ministry.

Documents for several concession areas as part of the fifth and sixth licensing rounds will remain available until the end of February, after which the projects will be awarded.

“We expect the remaining part of Rounds 5 and 6 licensing to be launched in March…several international companies have shown interested in obtaining licenses,” said Mohammed Al-Saadi, Deputy Director of the Ministry’s Contracts and Licenses section.

Saadi told the official Iraqi News Agency that the remaining part of round 5 comprises 16 concession areas while round 6 includes 14 areas, adding that 11 of those areas in the 6th round contain promising quantities of gas.

Iraq, which controls the world’s fifth largest proven oil deposits, expects these projects to largely boost its gas resources, estimated at around four trillion cubic metres.

Yes which as already stated in a previous post will enhance the liquidity which has to be a good thing moving forwards.

Additionally PET are basically fund raising at a decent price [all things considered] so will have no requirement for a highly dilutive placement as is typical on AIM"

Improving liquidity - don't make me laugh - so its been improving liquidity for 20 years or more...
2003 48m shares
2023 178m shares that's not helped !

As for decent price have you not looked at the share price chart beyond a few weeks ? The gamblers on that thread have seemingly held from the highs - i.e. down about 98%....
