21 Firms Select RainMaker Collections
Software Uses Rules-Based Wizards to Help Firms Improve Cash Flow
BLUE BELL, Pa., Dec. 9 /PRNewswire/ -- RainMaker Software, Inc., a leading
full-service provider of financial management, practice management and business
intelligence software, announced that 21 law firms, ranging in size from 30 to
260 attorneys, licensed the company's new Collections software within the first
90 days of its launch. Collections software provides firms with the ability to
plan, manage and control the entire cash collections process while improving
client satisfaction.
Firms can specify business rules for handling accounts receivable, these rules
combine to form wizards, which trigger corresponding workflow. These wizards
automate manual tasks such as determining the collections status for clients,
assigning follow-up activities for staff, and sending Accounts Receivable
reminder statements and collection letters either hard-copy or electronically.
Users benefit from management reports that track the history and results of
client collection activities, as well as the productivity of the firm's
collections personnel.
"We were previously on a collections software package that was no longer meeting
our needs. Specifically we were looking for a fully integrated system," said
Stan McGowen, firm administrator at Eaton Peabody. P.A., a 70 timekeeper firm in
Bangor, ME. "RainMaker's collections module provides us with full integration
to RainMaker's financial & practice management software and through the use of
its wizards; we are able to automate much of the process thus greatly reducing
our manual efforts."
"Firms are always looking for ways to improve cash flow, and integrating the
right technologies can go a long way to that end," said James Hammond, president
of RainMaker Software. "Our Collections software incorporates feedback from
dozens of our clients who told us that they needed more flexibility and
automation to compensate for the shortage of staff dedicated to their
collections efforts. We're delighted to see that many of our clients have
switched from another competitive product to our collections software because of
its ease of use and reduced costs."
