Bit of a mixed bag, today's RNS. Confirmation that there are profits to be disclosed in the accounts later this month but half the Board given the heave as there is no need for them when there is no growth.

Hmmmm... At least we're saving on the costs of their salaries, but I think I would have preferred to hear that they've got some deals lined up. If you can't pick up a bargain in these distressed times, when can you?

They promised the main market listing one year ago which should have happened by Autumn 2017 . New deal or reverse take over require time to accomplish so should hear from them shortly ( well max late in Spring 2017 ).

Noirua indeed. That is why very little buying can send this higher very quickly. Unfortunately works the same way with any selling! Just sitting back waiting patiently and topping up as funds allow. :-)

Zoltav shares owned by Arkady Abramovich's ARA Capital Limited Fund ( share 39.62%),
Bandbear Limited former co-owner "Sibuglemeta", Valentine Bukhtoyarova (share 39.62% )
and Crediton Invest Limited (4.48% share).
Another 4% of the company is owned by its top managers Dmitry Kamysheva (2.4%) and Alexander Sokolov (1.6%), slightly more than 7% of the shares in Zoltav are in free float.

I will contact Barc which holds my shares . Previously I was allowed on agm or egm ( but different companies ) with the contract note . If I attend I will inform you what was going on.

ecoover, I believe that if the shares are registered in your name, you will need some proof of identity. If they are held by a nominee, I guess you will need some form of proxy and proof of your identity

Having the AGM in London (rather in Jersey, or in the registered office in Cayman) seems to me to be a positive move. A move towards greater transparency perhaps. It is probably the first real opportunity for English shareholders to engage in a Q and A session. Some encouraging news on the way?

One of those rare days that Zol release an RNS! Anybody got the possibility to attend? Would be really good to get some insight into future plans. Especially wrt full listing etc. What their plans are to try to increase the share price etc.....

Despite the present polls in America I'm still mildly confident Donald Trump will win the Presidency. The penny will drop that the Senate rules really and he is likely to get on better with President Putin.

Trump is more likely to see that Putin holds the best cards and policy in Syria despite the terrible death toll and damaging bombings. Better to support an actual leadership in Syria that can tackle ISIS and eventually maintain control in the years to come. Far from ideal but best, in my view, to grab the least worse outcome rather than leave turmoil for very many years to come.

Russia gets $813m for stake in diamond company Alrosa


Russia has said it would sell stakes in other state-owned firms this year, including oil producers Rosneft and Bashneft, as well as shipping company Sovcomflot.

But First Deputy Prime Minister Igor Shuvalov said later in the day that the government had dropped the idea of selling a 19.5% in Rosneft, and it’s now favouring strategic investors instead, local new agency Tass reports.
