21/12/2015 21:29 | Expect a bear squeeze shortly. Recent trading has buys outnumbering sells 10 to 1. | the_sage1
20/12/2015 03:53 | katie, not a follower of Britbull' but I as am amateur predicted 7/8p and shorted accordingly. My short was based upon the tungsten price v operating costs. I need to know the financial aspect prior further investment. cheers Dud | dudishes

16/12/2015 15:30 | manonph, Guess Felixstowe - seem to recall a German customer, not sure of the 2nd. If by forecast, just one lorryload per day, roadworks no big deal. | dudishes
16/12/2015 11:21 | Dudishes where do they transport it to ? Tks | manonph
16/12/2015 08:29 | Apparently still shipping the stuff out, albeit with difficultly, road works on both exit routes. One would have expected an RNS as regards the massive drop, but not sure of AIM rules these days, not sure anyone bothers either way. Dud | dudishes
16/12/2015 08:27 | Reported APT price ticks upwards slightly today for the first time in a long while. hxxp://www.metal-pag | jdnicholson
10/12/2015 13:54 | taxiparrots You got me there, Tungsten price looks as if it found a bottom as it has been flat for the past two months. (If I am reading this right?)It isn't too different to the summary chart in the header. I guess Jimmy321 has a point that a commodity cannot end up being worthless but to counter that, it could be worth 30% less? I would want to see WLFE go sub 7p again before feeling confident enough that it has found a bottom. JJ Murphy and I feel better with a double bottom (??) | roddyb
10/12/2015 08:01 | As far as I can see from the news on the site the Chinese producers are selling at close to cost and are selling above the spot rate and are not holding much supply. When the price was really high one of my Chinese suppliers asked me to hold off my orders for as long as possible as they did not want to place an order for carbide powder as did others in the industry that was right at the peak. At the time I did ask someone on the thread who had done a valuation to run it at $220/mtu because that's a realistic long term figure, like anything else tungsten can not become financially worthless as next to nothing can be produced economically without it. | jimmy321
10/12/2015 05:48 | Roddyb, not sure of taxip' point. but above wolferine price chart indicates $162/3mtu, Asian Metal site indicates $135mtu. Indication on the same site suggests that Chinese tungsten providers holding and hedging for higher price. No idea which is the most accurate? Closed our shorts @ 8.5p, didn't expect it to drop further. Hope that the price does recover, both WLFE & TUNG in trouble here, the latter more so (no posn). Question is:- WLFE mtu quantity delivered and agreed price? A state secret at the moment. cheers | dudishes
09/12/2015 17:33 | Roddyb. Are you completely blind.F R" no sign of tungsten going up at the moment" Why don't you visit the Asian Metal tungsten website Google it if you know how . Then get back to me with what you find. | taxiparrots
08/12/2015 21:36 | ouch!! here comes 6p I'm thanking my lucky stars I got out and put it in PANR. This one still has further to go because there is some heavy borrowing and if the share price is involved in way as a security for the loan - we could go for another spin downwards. No sign of tungsten going up at the moment, so I guess let's keep an eye out for the metal price to find a bottom then get back on WLFE - until then, it's going to be ugly. | roddyb
07/12/2015 14:18 | More buys than sells now. | etarip
07/12/2015 11:44 | ouch!! down below 8½p | roddyb
23/11/2015 14:24 | Rod, you have been around long enough to answer your own question. Short Wolf @ 13p. Plenty of spare, due to stakeholders. Tried to short GKP a week ago, no takers, PI/Bondholders owned. Try harder my friend. btw, no fan of Leedskier either, he had a habit of reporting me when I shorted his portfolio, waste of space. | dudishes
23/11/2015 10:53 | Who can you short an aim share with? What was the contract price for as short on WLFE? I can't do it on any of my platforms... | roddyb
21/11/2015 01:21 | katie:- No, they are adjusting the Screens (apparently thats the source). I spoke with Mr John Briggs today, he was very open about the issue (he thought I was from the Press). At the end of our discussion, I told him that from owning some 400k shares, I had sold and am now short of the share. He did not understand "Short". I explained it to him. I think he is honest, I would like to be long! Unfortunately sentiment not my game, money is, short remains. cheers Dud | dudishes
19/11/2015 17:37 | The vibration issue , would they have to shut down the machine and for how long to fix the problem ? Any of you local investors had a word with the workforce. | katie priceless |
