Superb coverage of wsg on Twitter and LSE by someone called Mike who was obviously on investor call

WSG quite active on X recently. Are they finally going to deliver or is it a precursor to raising?

“…Based on current international embarking passenger levels, the #WSG contract is expected to generate revenues of around £8 million in the first 12 months of operation, with potential for additional revenue from domestic traffic/cargo screening…”

You should join the wsg board then.

“If they get the contract how will it be financed?” UKEF

“Have they ever repatriated money out of Sierra Leone?” Clearly they have or else they wouldn’t have been able to pay the UK salaries - if you mean, have they paid a dividend, well we all know they haven’t - but the margins from this deal will go straight to bottom line. So the ability to pay future dividends will be there. That was one of the reasons for the capital reconstruction, the removal of accumulated losses to enable dividends to be paid a lot sooner than they would have had been able to otherwise.

2nd tweet from WSG in two years just posted saying the deals are on track.

Pretty foolish if not confident of delivering?

Hard to get too excited but WSG is no longer my worst pick, a recovery based on the idea that things are still bad but could have been even worse.

Think many missed this also in today's #WSG RNS......Have people have piƧked up that the 500k Ghana settlement and EIB payment of 850k are so timely and surely shows why they settled when they did?

Do the maths...Have you really read the WSG RNS in detail......this is MASSIVE.I have followed WSG for years (to my cost!) but never seen such a careful, positive, upbeat RNS. To use the word "transformational" should not be understated.Have you looked at the potential numbers here?If passenger numbers are around 400,000 at say $25 then tats $10m pa over 10/15/20 years? The DRC was worth $6m a year when passenger numbers were really low (covid years) so $10m is hardly unrealistic... https://www.londonstockexchange.com/news-article/WSG/interim-results/16399727One to watch here...

People pay them for tech. The next few large MSCs will be funded by UKF.Obviously you all lost money on WSG and not irrationally hate a company that doesn't know you exist. Chill
