Then again, weren't most of these trades sells by Brittanic though?...Hopefully, the market knew this was coming and just wanted to see the back of them and has now decided to start raising the price now they are out?

check the volumes ( graphically )on the ft.com site under analysis for via - maybe technically rudimentary for some here on this site but something going on nonethe less?

Well looks like VIA remains undiscovered for many advfn posters......I thought today's rise might have generated some visitors at least......should get interesting if anyone else actually manages to find us here I suppose......

Today's volumes remain very low..............

Just updated the Major Shareholders list in header.

Not sure if the Market has it wrong regarding the holdings of Williams de Broe PLC, Willbro Nominees Ltd, and Michael Underwood. There may be some triplication here as this RNS suggests Underwood may be holding through Williams de Broe/Willbro...

platts, we can safely say yesterday's large trade of 3,176,310 was definately a sell. As that's how much Britannic Investment Managers Limited had left according to the RNS.

In the last 4 sessions there's been quite a few large trades over 250,000 totalling over 21,000,000. Looking at the trades pages one would expect the price to have capitulated, but it's risen.

My suspicion is that most of those trades involved Michael Underwood buying out large stake holders.

shares, Britannic Investment Managers Limited now holds 3,176,310 ordinary

Not sure why Britannic Investment Managers Limited were never on the Major Shareholders list in the first place, or did I miss an RNS?

I know but it still seems all wrong though.....looks like we have a huge seller and the price is rising......summat's not quite right but why ?.....is that old "stock overhang cleared" theory I wonder or a suckers rally to encourage buyers of the available stock.....oh well, better just wait and see what happens I suppose......

Exotic.....that's what I was worried about.....doh!!...the again, I see that a certain Mr Underwood seems to like these and bought 750,000 recently and holds 8.2m of these (or 6.4%) so not all bad news then......

Via is not hot on releasing news so you have to be patient!
However, prospects look good and price is at a low, so I may be tempted to a further top-up, although I have built a fair sized holding.
