1 million a month profit was mentioned somewhere as a figure a while back if they accellarate past the 15,000 break even point

New Vianet website, hence the broken gif image in the header.

They've also redesigned the logo.

Must admit I prefered the previous website design and colour scheme, and the new site is a blank page if (like me) you have flash disabled.

dissapointing to see the pennant formation unravelling a little today
i thought this one withstood the battering of the last few weeks quite well
hopefully its just the last day of the tax year thing
heres hoping small investors wont chicken out / get shaken out of this one
why buy , hold for a while , watch new funding and interest develop and then capitulate?

btw , re. oil price and recent drubbing of small caps , this one shouldnt be affected as much in that the nature of the product allows for remote monitoring and even cutting down on unneccessary transport to / fro various locations of machines due to smarter management of vending machine stocking.

SURFER although 50% was a good profit in today's market, HCEG seem to be moving onwards and upwards. Have you looked at their bulletin board on here.
It's a great read.
If you had a lot of money tied up in them though I must admire you for getting out, as there is easy the risk of the rises falling back to original levels

Rumour of the day

Vianet Group, which provides technology for the remote monitoring of vending machines, held steady at 4p, despite word that its trial operation of Vodafone's QuickPhone kiosk at the mobile operator's stores in Manchester is faring well. Dealers note that Vodafone, which is using the kiosk to speed services in its shops, has 400 outlets in the UK.

Contract Announced with Mars Electronic International

Vending operators across the world are taking advantage of MEI products to help them grow their business, delivering greater revenue and profits. MEI coin changer, bill acceptor and vending management solutions are leading the industry for reliability, innovation and excellence.

Vianet and Mars Electronics International Partner for Telemetry Solutions, first
volume order placed

Vianet has today signed a five year Value Added Reseller Agreement with Mars
Electronics International ("MEI"), a part of Mars Incorporated, and one of the
world's largest manufacturers of electronic coin changers, bill acceptors,
cashless payment systems and other unattended transaction systems. MEI has
placed an initial order for 5,000 viTel audit devices, with a contracted minimum
of 3,000 units, which will be installed over the next 24 months in MEI's
customer base.

The Agreement encompasses all countries across Europe and appoints Vianet as the
exclusive provider of vending audit devices, which enable electronic transfer of
vending meter readings. Vianet's viTel Audit device will greatly increase
operator efficiency, enhance data accuracy, and increase profitability.
Furthermore the Agreement appoints Vianet as the primary supplier of vending
telemetry services to the MEI group of companies and MEI EASITRAX customers. MEI
are targeted to supply other Mars subsidiary companies as part of the Agreement.

The partnership integrates both Vianet's viTel data collection units (hardware)
and Vianet's vOpen Internet based vending management system with MEI's EASITRAX
system. This system, accessed by a mobile phone connection to a local Internet
Service Provider, is designed to manage customers' vending businesses more
effectively, provide efficiencies through stock and cash management and collect
and analyse data to help identify product marketing opportunities. The
combination of the vOpen Internet based system and MEI EASITRAX provides the
vending owner unparalleled flexibility for data gathering and analysis. The
vOpen management system is hosted by Vianet's partner, Alcatel.
