If your happy with a 20%+ drop in the share price since results, then I guess I can not argue with that Yump. Perhaps we have different agenda's with regarding to our investments. Over many years I have seen many AIM listed companies raise buck after buck simply for growth, but all to often at the expense of its existing shareholders. Hopefully all is good & the share price will return to where it was before results.

There has to be a reason for the drop in the share price As usual, the PIs are the last to know why. I understand all the nervousness and negativity against that background. The fall in the share price is way overdone to simply be due to the recent results.

So all these negative posts are because of the business itself... or the share price drop ?

ie. who is really in control of your reactions ?

Not invested here but observing - last post very interesting - will store that away if ever they appear on another stock

Spooky, that little observation wasn't unimportant at all, management doing what they say is important. There's another small thing I noticed once earlier in the year and then again last week - Beaufort issued notes and attended meetings yet they're not the company's brokers, I mentioned it last time but no one took me up on it.

I think it's fair to say Beaufort are the ambulance chasers of the broking world, why are they hanging around, I don't like that, it suggests (to me at least) that they might think there's future work for them and that would be bad news imo.

I am guessing they made assumptions of which they are now less certain about divesting Innovenn to reach the current forecasts. The longer they hang on to Innovenn the more it will drag down this year's numbers, or at least that seems to be what is implied by the H1 results.

The rest of the business would appear to be growing strongly both in terms of revenue and profitability.

Shank. If they think they are likely to miss forecast then that would have come out in the results last week. Not sure why the share price has fallen so much , perhaps time will tell. Below 20p then I am out, even if the story remains the same

The warning signs went up for me when they suggested news on Innoven within a month, nothing appeared and they didn't comment. Probably not important but i don't like it when management does that sort of thing.

VENN do seem to have stopped mentioning making a profit this financial year. It was prominent in their AGM statement but absent from their H1 results. It is difficult to see this having happened by accident.

Getting very tempting here for a top-up.

I suspect the combination of (a) post-Brexit blues for the UK pharmaceutical industry and (b) the weekend stories of silly charges from NICE for pharmaceuticals companies to appraise drugs for NHS use - wth equal charges for small and large companies alike - are causing a few to exit.

I winder if the sellers are even aware that VENN are based in Dublin, so outside the "Brexit" discussion and likely to be net beneficiaries? Similarly, the charges from NICE are still to be finalised/reviewed as I understand it so will probably be amended after the furore they've caused.

The drop in the share price is now becoming ridiculous. What do all the sellers know that we don't?

I would presume before as proposed action on Innoven had not been announced at the time this forecast was made.

Shanklin - Hybridian forecast 2.12p this year and 2.2p EPS next year. I would have thought the 2017 forecast was a bit cautious. As the forecast was made in May I would have expected the post Brexit vote weakness of the pound to have edged these figures up.

A one year wait and back to square one again. It feels like my cash is better stored in a biscuit tin under the bed at times without any risk!

What are the current broker forecasts for VENN please? I assume these will take account of the H1 results.

Thank you, Martin

P.S. rivaldo, I just e-mailed you in the hope you might be able to help me.

Thanks for your update Tim, which was most helpful. Let's hope for some positive movement on the share price in the weeks ahead. I only hold around 50,000 shares but am feeling a tad exposed at the moment.
