yorgi and bernie are your archetypal bulletin board morons....they will always, always lead newbie suckers, or even oldbie suckers into the poor house.....an indicator is the banning of anyone who can see the clear and present danger....bring on the next disaster

In my 7 years of trading I have see some cases of nomad resigning due to their own financial problems. Am not saying that's the case here but could be.

Nomads don't resign for no good reason and new nomads won't take a company on if the departing nomad has valid reasons I wouldn't be in a rush to buy these shares until the reasons for the resignation come clear - the nomad would know far far more about the company than anyone posting on an advfn bulletin board

new nomad will be slotted in at some point next week imo, in the meantime, i intend to take full advantage of the share price drop, loaded 21m shares after rns (all the 999,999 are mine)i will be loading again monday for the same again, then sit back and wait for the rise back to 0.20 after nomad confirmation, thats almost a bagger from here, thats what they call a xmas treat, not for LTH but for traders and speculators, you think the nomad will be announced before due date, load and load, if you dont think a company like VAST can attract a nomad, well not only are you stupid, but sell all your stock monday.......simples

I nicked this from LSE, but could it be the issue is with the Nomad ?

The Group's business is substantially focused on the AIM market. During 2015, AIM market activity declined significantly. New admissions, which had increased in each year from 2012, fell 48% to 61 compared with 118 in 2014. This represented the second worst year for new admissions in the history of the AIM market. Only 2009 was worse, with 36 new admissions. In addition, takeover offers for AIM companies were down 17% to 20 deals in 2015.”

Inevitably this had an impact on Strand Hanson which saw its turnover almost halve from £8.2 million to £4.7 million and its profit of £0.8 million swung to a loss of £1.5 million. Even worse it’s auditors highlight in their opinion, via an emphasis of matter paragraph (see below) that it may not be a going concern because of potential tax liabilities arising from a historic tax planning scheme which HMRC contend is ineffective. In plain English that is a scheme designed to remit cash to staff in a "tax efficient" manner.

“In forming our opinion on the financial statements we have considered the adequacy of the disclosures made in notes 2 and 19 to the financial statements concerning the Parent Company's and the Group's ability to continue as a going concern and a contingent liability in respect of taxation liabilities. The Parent Company has received an Advance Payment Notice from Her Majesty's Revenue and Customs for £3.1 million in respect of tax which they allege was underpaid on amounts settled into Employee Benefit Trusts, a liability which the company and its advisers contend is not payable. The Company has insufficient financial resources to settle the amounts of taxation for which payment is being pursued.

This matter represents a material uncertainty which may cast significant doubt about the Company's and the Group's ability to continue as a going concern. The financial statements do not include any adjustments that would result if the Company and Group were unable to continue as a going concern -

I sent Roy a text after the announcement, and to his credit he, as always, responded to me (many a ceo would have scant regard for mere pi's). I asked whether an appointment would be made sooner rather than later since the closer to the end of jan, the more disasterous the share price performance will be. His response was that it is in hand and it will not be a long drawn out process. I should state that i am an eternal optimist, but that has certainly given me a degree of comfort for the weekend after a truly dire day.

With the signs of big boys mining sector rising at crazy rates suggest the market is expecting big turn around in revenues It's only matter of time when junior miners will catch the winds in the rising sector Patience is required and will come good in this If you re read the quarters and final results last few months you'll see why this is way undervalued. Mm are taking the pis£
