12/12/2016 11:44 | Got to be honest had my eye on this last week and could not believe it was still at or above the 52w low despite 100%+ on Crude through that period. Unloved and forgotten about stock. Really should be 4p now at the very least. With oil heading 60$ this should be much much higher. Picked up a few this morning. | keya5000

12/12/2016 11:38 | No smoke without fire, somethings stoking this up apart from oil price rise. | martyn9
12/12/2016 11:34 | Always worth holding some of these especially at this low as you never know when a piece of better news will trigger a rerate. Cash flow is good and some improving profits reported. A better oil price will help and the first quarter drill might be the catalyst for a rerate if it brings in more production I can't believe that major shareholder Adler at just under 50% will not act if something is untoward and because they haven't said anything or acted, then it's just some patience required IMO. | nick rubens
12/12/2016 11:23 | You can only buy £20 worth online before NT. | keya5000
12/12/2016 11:21 | What are you saying Neilly? That they can't grab enough shares at your price and so will only offer at best? Latent demand? As I said earlier, the surprise news in oil cuts with non-OPEC members has caught the market off guard and the likelihood of the predicted 60 bucks a barrel is looking likely soonish... Maybe even more here on leverage as so often with oilers than 3p. The macro picture will be the key not what UEN specifically is about, although a nice drill update next quarter would assist no end! 12/12/2016 11:09 | With oil recovering I think any buy under 3p is good here for long term hold.Look at likes of lgo which just produces about 500bopd and market cap of about £10m today. Will be back in and happy to pay up to 3p. Got to release some funds first | jungmana

12/12/2016 11:02 | I'd hurry yourself up....with Adler holding nr 45% stake there is very small free float of shares, hence why price moves on buys or sells very quickly. GL | neilyb675
12/12/2016 10:58 | With a production of over 2000bopd and market cap of just about £5m, is UEN the cheapest oiler on aim or am I missing something? I use to hold here in 2014/15 but looking to get back in. | jungmana

12/12/2016 09:28 | Indeed, we produce oil and the price is clearly now being allowed to rise and like I say, Trump/Putin seem to be on 'friendly' terms...plus we ship twice a year so as you say cash flow is good too. Topicel | topicel
11/12/2016 20:02 | Topicel Yes, good points. Jersey Oil and Gas is another one I gave up at 17p. :( I thought the rally to 17p was a chance to bail after seeing it under 10p. It's strange but at share price lows everyone starts condemning the management as useless etc,( true in a lot of cases) but that's quite often the worst time to sell in anger and frustration. If you can afford to hold on, one might as well be prepared to let the rest of ones money die completely as the possible and dramatic recoveries hurt even more IMO. UEN does not have any cash crisis. In fact it's improved over the last two years and with improving cash flow from what I can see in the accounts. The first quarter 2017 drill might change things for the better here. | nick rubens
11/12/2016 17:59 | That RXP surge in value was on the back of some big strike or similar discovery beyond expectations around July 2014 I believe Nick Rubens? Whether something like that is potentially possible here is for others to guess at, and certainly UEN are 'looking' as we understand it. So, given the crazy markets and everything, there is always the chance rising oil prices and a nice Putin/Trump old pals act whereby sanctions are dropped, oil deals are signed - hence the new Secretary of State being the Exxon CEO perhaps? - and UEN hit pay dirt, for us, and hey presto happy daze! Well, like you say, RXP shows what can happen after months/years of nothing and having been a bit of a 'don't touch with a barge poll' share... Topicel | topicel
