An early touch of blue this morning from that small early buy. It was due from the three buys yesterday. Let's hope it holds for the remainder of the shortened trading day and that we can finish the year on a 3p bid or better. I for one am looking forward to our better fortunes next year. Happy New Year to all the other suffering long term holders like myself.

Thal - one of my top picks for next year. £10m market cap, almost have that in cash and have a $15m order book to date for this year. As no brainers go this is top of the list.

HUR has a market cap of £600m with reserves of 450m barrels..UEN has a market cap of £6m with reserves of 100m..do the math

Turner the other commodity play I like is AYM LN..a zinc/copper play in Wales!! i'm looking good there at the mo as long @ 1.65p current price 3.75p

I have two plays on resources at the moment Anglo Pacific (APF) and Thalassa (THAL) both up 20%. I have now sold my Shell shares, made 50% gain there.

The Board has confirmed Mr Leonid Dyachenko as the Company's Chief Executive Officer, a position that he previously held on an interim basis. The Board is considering the appointment of a non-executive director with experience of Government relations.  Further announcements will be made as appropriate. 
 
Andrew Shrager, Chairman, commented: Mr Ogarev has been a long-standing member of the Board and has been responsible for Government relations, a function that is vital to our operations. We will consider appointing a non-executive director with similar experience in the New Year. We welcome the confirmation of Mr Dyachenko as Chief Executive Officer.  Mr Dyachenko has led the Company through the expansion of its portfolio via our successes in auctions for licences and acquisitions, and is committed to completing our development plans for each of our three principal areas, Articneft, Petrosak and Komi."

No share is a dead cert, I generally hold between 10 and 15 shares and some of those will turn out to be duds. I sell those and move on. I run the winners until they reach full value or get overvalued.
