Trinity Mirror plc ("the Company") announces that it has purchased the following number of its ordinary shares of 10 pence each on the London Stock Exchange from Numis Securities Ltd as part of its buyback programme announced on 1 August 2016.
Date of purchase: 14 November 2017 Number of ordinary 10p shares purchased: 20,000 Highest price paid per share: 77.50p Lowest price paid per share: 76.75p Volume weighted average price paid per share: 77.45p
The Company intends to hold these shares in treasury.
Following the purchase of these shares, the Company holds 10,017,620 of its ordinary shares in treasury and has 273,441,951 ordinary shares in issue (excluding treasury shares). Therefore the total number of voting rights in the Company 273,441,951 which may be used by shareholders as the denominator for the calculations by which they can determine if they are required to notify their interest in, or a change to their interest in, the Company under the Financial Conduct Authority's Disclosure and Transparency Rules.
In accordance with Article 5(1)(b) of Regulation (EU) No 596/2014 (the Market Abuse Regulation), the schedule below contains detailed information about the purchases made by Numis Securities Ltd on behalf of the Company as part of the buyback programme.
On 1 August 2016, the Company announced that it would commence a share repurchase programme of up to a maximum consideration of GBP10m (the "Programme"). The Company announces that it has today completed the Programme.
