I hear the CEO has texted all staff today saying what a fantastic May was sales wise! Certainly won't be selling my holdings for a while.

The reduction in number of stores (5)is a net figure ie closures less openings . Store closures were more in this period partly due to closure of Tile Clearing House stores not converted to Topps Tiles brand.

On an ongoing basis you will always get some closures due to lease expiries, landlords' redevelopment etc but this should be more than compensated by new openings and relocations.

I am a nice fella..........just cannot abide one line rampers such as yourself!.You constantly spout rubbish, do you ever think about how ramping could potentially result in newbies losing all their money?, doubt your even bothered tbh.Again you cannot support in anyway shape or form your short term £2 target. Why is this going to go to £2?. Two years ago, or thereabouts you were ramping the hell out of this (nothing changes!) saying exactly what your saying now, namely that this was going to £2..........well it didn't, nor is it likely to in the short term IMV."You don't open more stores unless you can see increased margin profits or are looking for a buyout".Utter nonsense yet again, they have not opened any new stores thus far this FY, indeed they have closed 5. There were 347 at the start of the year, by the end of H1 there was 342. So, based on your statement, it follows that they cannot see increased margins/profits and there is no buyout!.DD

I think you sound like a lovely fella if the truth be told. I still believe the shares will hit £2 short term with more store openings due short term. You don't open more stores unless you can see increased margin profits or are looking for a buyout. I'm in for the long term with my holdings purchased at 42p and 93p.

More crud"£2 will be easily achievable...."Based on what exactly?If they hit forecast earnings this year (9.1p) with an average PE of 17 that's 155p, even next years earnings would require a hefty PE of 20 to come anywhere near a share price of £2......ain't going to happen "easily" and anytime soon IMV.Blackrock bought about 2m of those large trades on the 26th, hence the notification today. Believe it's two trading days (?) after the transaction day when a notification has to be issued. As the total of those two large trades on the 26th was about 2.5% (from memory) of the issued shares, then suspect the other purchaser may not currently hold 3% or more, thus no further notification expected for the additional 1.5% buy on the 26th.Will see what happens tomorrow, if the bid hits 150 I'm out.Keeping ramping for a bit longer more crud!.DD

£2 will be easily achievable with the way the company is performing at the moment. I'm still curious as to who spent over £6m on these last week. They are obviously thinking along the same lines don't you think?? I certainly wouldn't be selling these at the mo when someone buys that amount of shares. Insider dealings perhaps??

Yeah total Nonsense. This isn't a takeover target. But it is a very solid company that is posting consistently strong results in a retail environment that many other companies are finding 'challenging'. The most encouraging take away from the latest results was that the Boutique stores are really starting to make a significant impact on earnings. I've been a long term holder and continue to be positive on this stock. No arbitrary £2 share price targets but if they continue to grow the way they are currently doing the share price will likely move upwards in the future.

From the LMI (on my watch list) thread, sound familiar!:cudmore - 26 May 2016 - 09:03 - 11982 of 11985 - 0£2 here we come====================================================Followed later by a bit more blatant ramping for TPT:cudmore - 27 May 2016 - 12:26 - 11985 of 11985 - Keep an eye on TPT. 2 huge buys yesterday. Someone knows something!!====================================================IMV just pathetic.DD

More Crud,Your the one with all the answers, RUMOUR has it your still loitering around their HO and going through the wheelie bins and painstakingly re-sticking together all their shredded paperwork.There is no takeover, there will be no £2 (not for a couple of years anyway IMV).... This is just back to where it was a month ago and recovering following their H1 results.Just give it a rest with your constant one line ramps which never have any substance, in fact very little of what you post has any value..............prove me wrong, post up your data to support a forecasted target price of £2, while your on also post up some evidence or reasoning behind why you think a takeover is on the cards (on the back of two trades).DD

Nice 100k buy. Positive news and lots of buying this week. Only one way this is going and that's towards £2 short term IMHO.
