I'm a huge fan and huge (for me) investor in ARS so would recommend anyone to research it as it goes into a transformational 12 month period Tlou is my third largest holding and has many similarities in terms of proven asssts , proven management , low costs and hitting the commodity price cycle to perfection Happy to hold both for the next few months before reviewing any positions

Hi Dorset - I haven't looked indepth and not a big fan of miners just mainly due to timescale (and not their overall prospects) for tying up investment capital. The only miner I am in is Ironveld and waiting on a smelter to be built with full scale production in 12 months and off take agreements in place for all 3 main products for a minimum of 5 years.

I've been adding to SAVP and hopefully their first wells will spud end of Q1 targeting a high COS on 2.2 billion bls recoverable. Oversubscribed $40m raised at 38p recently and slipped down to 28p and why I've been a buyer at such a discount. Multiple prospects with multiple targets per well mean it's not a 1 well wonder where wells to the Eocene take 24 days at a cost of $4.5m each. CNPC on same immediate interspersed acreage have found over 920 mmbo P2 with an 80% success rate in the Eocene. Chinese had to relinquish a big portion of acreage that Savp now have and were unable to drill all available prospects to my understanding in the time constraints of the exploration period. Rig contract expected to be signed next month and could also be a farmin partner pre drill especially with the recovery in the oil price and the huge amount of potential recoverable making it very attractive considering what CNPC achieved. Key has been heavy use of 3D in getting such a high success rate where before on 2D it was 25%. Savp have carried out significant 3D work and spend.

£75m m/cap (28p). Has potential for a possible major multi bagger ie circa £350m+ for every net 100 mmbls (over 125p per 100 mmbls net). If they only have 25% success rate compared to what the Chinese achieved, there's potential for it to be a £4 stock and a reasonable valuation of circa £1b. I view it as one of the best potential opps emerging in a long time - not without risk but as said, not a one shot wonder on limited cash given their $40m raise. Very substantial institutional/director holdings at circa 65%. Very quiet discussion board, but expecting interest to soon pick up re rig contract next month so one to watch imo.

hopefully 7p is the bottom and it can move on from here in Q1. slow burner perhaps and some shorter term high impact shares could fund a larger holding at this sp

Thanks for your input Zengas. TLOU is obviously on your watchlist, just let us know when you're invested :-)

Hey Zengas, trust you're well too.

I am liking TLOU as an investment right now as, although bigger risks without the answers you seek above, which are relevant, I'm basing my investment on the BoD's background, previous experience and trusting them to bring it through to fruition.

Sure an investment until everything is known is more of a 'gamble' but again, if all comes in the rewards are multiples if I wait until everything is known.

I've made the exact same play into ARS as this one as, as with all early stage plays, there are always more Q's than answers in the beginning. Have you looked at ARS Zengas/Sawadee as be interested in your thoughts there too.

GL all.

I've watched the debate here for a long time Sawadee.

Down to what the commercial flow rate/well will be is the burning question for me.
100 mcf or 1 mmcf+/d/well (16 or 160+ boepd/well ?).

And how long additional future wells will also take to de-water (as these currently are taking) and thus replicate more commercial rates/actual production over x amount of time.

And how many batch wells they could drill to fast track sizeable production delivery and at what overall cost/time relative to production rate per well.

Two of the things that particularly appeals to me are the connections to the Botswana Govt. and to GE. Not too many companies have a govt backing or that of a very large company such as GE. TLOU have both as well as a few other significant aspects which give me some confidence that the share price will eventually multibag here.

Good thing about TLOU is they have already found the gas, don't have to spend years looking / drilling for it, and they are the only ones in that neck of the woods that will be producing.

Indeed Phil, GKP set me up along with the banks post-crash! Gave all of my profit to the fund managers, even i realised they were much smarter than myself, and still do hand profit over :-)

I think the 'early days' GKP-ers were the lucky ones. I made close to an 8 bagger there & sold out completely, then cursed my luck as I looked on as it continued to rise.

I didn't then look in for more than 9-12 months and phew, what a lucky escape that was.

I do feel given a few years that TLOU could replicate similar rises but this time, with something of substance behind the rise.

Some good thoughts RB

It's a very frustrating company to hold at the moment, clear progress is being made but not recognised in the trading.

I'm happy to give them to end of Q1 to produce something of real tangible value but I would like to hear from the CEO, I think that makes a difference rather than sending the FD out to do all the PR, that is quite unusual

It's also quite a complex project which doesn't sit well with the average AIM "investor" who has zero attention span and no appetite for detail and long term (more than 3 week!) returns.

For transparency purposes, I have a quite substantial and similar holding to that of the regular poster 2lb.

I, too, am both disappointed and bemused by the continual and repetitious sell-off by small holders. Yes, I know this is AIM!

I am not here to ramp this share with BS. All I will say is that I acquired my holding earlier this year at 3.5p because I knew a bargain when I caught sight of one. For me, the experienced management team underpin this investment.

Newsflow from Tlou has been consistently positive and if all continues to go as planned, then satisfactorily agreed SPV terms, which could be announced at any time, should see this share no-longer be ludicrously traded in single figures. With a mining licence approved in the New Year this share will be further de-risked and consequently re-rated upward, significantly moving it up the value curve – rewarding ALL shareholders (including me).

Having been in contact with the company yesterday, I continue to remain encouraged and see no valid reason whatsoever to sell as the team are working hard and opportunities like this don’t come along often! I also feel sure that people are overlooking the fact that Tlou have exploration licences covering 2.05million acres of easily accessible land – that’s equivalent to 40 per cent of the landmass of Wales, which is a country within the United Kingdom.

Good luck to all shareholders, whatever entry price you achieved.

DYOR etc.

unfortunately that spike higher a couple of days back seemed to test the 8p range and react straight back from it. That 8p ish level held as support for most of October. After a test and fail at resistance usually means a test of support is coming. I hope it holds!!!
