Two UK-listed companies have launched investigations into rumours spread in online investment chatrooms, highlighting the influence of bulletin boards on the smaller end of the London stock market.
Online bulletin boards such as ADVFN and iii attract thousands of posts each day from a dedicated audience of retail investors fiercely debating their portfolios|

|More importantly it depends on the board that emerges post takeover. Needless to say that there will be changes... could go either way at the moment..|
It is classed as a reverse takover because TPH is bigger than NET and, hence, TPH shareholders effectively have control after the transaction.
As I understand it, NET management will be in charge (Chairman/Chief Exec) post-transaction.|

|Netcall have a placing at 19p to cover the purchase. A huge premium over their current share price. That says it all I think.|
|Price of Netcall is rising on the deal and they raised funds at a premium ie 19p so the take out price is higher and rising!
|Um, was hoping for a higher take out price, but there you have it!|
