Tangent Communications News
|heaven: Seen it before in the AIM market, share price run down by the management, then when the general market drops they offer to buy the company. Writtles can have mine for 4.5p if they change their mind. 2.25p was a bend over price for shareholders.|
|heaven: Yet again. Share price driven lower by directors, only to be bought out by same directors.|
|jaykaytee: Shocking set of results. But was kind of expected.
Share Price continued to drop in the run up to results - seems like those in the know knew how poor these results were going to be.
Management have got no idea of how to turn this around - no outlook and no light at the end of the tunnel.
Could this visit 1p?|
|jaykaytee: Results out in next two weeks. I expect them to be DIRE.
Need a change in management Urgently.
Will the share price drop even further I wonder?|
|jaykaytee: Share price hardly budged from the lows.
Does he see value at this price, or does he know there will be things in the pipeline which will positively affect the share price in the future.
All guesswork i'm afraid. DYOR|
|adamb1978: Didnt have a huge amount of these however have sold out. Slightly annoying as I'd been meaning to have another look at them for a while given the valuation was slightly higher than I was comfortable with.
Main reason for selling is that they say that H1 profit for Online is flat and is down £0.45m for the agency business....yet profit for the year is expected to be flat year on year. They therefore need to materially outperform in H2 vs last yaer in order to hit that flat expectation.
On the basis of needing to beat last year to keep things flat, I would say that that is almost the upside case and its quite possible that earnings will decline this year. Therefore trading on 12x is probably around right or generous - EPS could easily slip to 0.5p which then puts the PE up to 15x.
Will keep it on my radar as there's a number of things I like about TNG - the board is sensible, like the BS and 3-4 year trend in EBITA is good. However I cant see the share price progressing from here before the interims next year so may as well exit and invest elsewhere
All the best for those who hold|
|bollers: Anyone know about the rules if there are any concerning share buybacks as announced by TNG today?
No trades I can see in the last few days of 2M shares going through, nor has the share price moved much as I would have expected it to on that volume.
Therefore are the MM's holding the trade back, or can the co. just buy 2M shares off an institution who want to sell at 9.5p or even a director sell some of their own holding to the company at that price?|
|cfro: Zzzzzzz......Yes, i must say this share is a little boring to say the least. Share price just drifting down on no news.|
|adamb1978: 20% growth is good, though its broadly in line with the share count - I'm therefore a bit concerned that the share price will come off considerably when the results show that at EPS level things are flat|
|minuteman: Yump... I posted in June that the share buyback may be offset with the directors options getting exercised at the same time. i.e. artificially keeping a price up while selling into the market
whilst this will ultimately benefit us in that our % will again be restored after shares were issued to buy companies.,
I cant help thinking that this is a stitch up, using our funds to let them sell into the market without the share price getting mullered as we know it can on this illiquid stock.
Not moved much has it, despite some large buys????/
I am very suspicious of this!|
