12/1/2017 07:15 | PEAK TRADING UPDATE - 10 WEEKS TO 7 JANUARY 20175 The Group performed well during its peak trading period with Retail revenues of £162.1m, increasing by 20.6% year-on-year. This growth reflects continued like-for-like growth1 of 14.9%, the positive impact of the Group's store expansion programme and includes the benefit from the weakness in sterling. The Group traded in-line with its planned promotional strategy, throughout peak, with a series of on-line sub-category promotions prior to Christmas followed by a focused clearance event. The Group opened 9 net new stores in the 10 weeks, adding 74,000 sq. ft. to its trading space. Euan Sutherland, Chief Executive Officer, commented: "The first half year has seen further good progress with a strong sales performance in all channels, particularly Wholesale. This converted to profitable growth after continued investment in both expanded distribution capability and in our development markets. Dividend goes up massively What not to like! This really should be £25-£30 a share already for this consistent delivery | tjbird

10/1/2017 12:42 | Upbeat retail data and weak pound boosts FTSE StockMarketWire.com After a run of closing all-time highs, the blue chip index continued to move higher and gained 0.2% to 7,251. A weak pound against the dollar and a rally by retail stocks on positive independent data helped to keep the FTSE 100's upward momentum. Retail stocks were boosted by the British Retail Consortium's (BRC) report of a strong Christmas week, which encouraged spending growth in December and World Kantar figures. | tjbird

09/1/2017 16:14 | loads of good ecommerce stuff going on Commenting on SuperGroup's performance Euan Sutherland, Chief Executive Officer, said: "This is another good performance particularly when set against last year's strong first half trading. Our new product ranges continue to perform well and during the second quarter our continuity ranges provided trading resilience when the weather across Europe was unseasonably warm. Our focus remains on executing the clear growth opportunities for the Superdry brand, together with key third quarter trading period ahead of us. The long-term opportunity for the brand is underpinned by continued investment in infrastructure and our multi-channel strategy that combines the ongoing development of our e-commerce platform with a disciplined approach to new space growth. Our ongoing diversification across geography, channel and category, reduces the Group's reliance on any individual market and provides further confidence in the Group's future prospects as we develop our global lifestyle brand." | tjbird
