27/2/2017 18:22 | or could it be simply filling in the blank spaces where the orders should be?? | hjb1
27/2/2017 17:49 | As usual, the absence of hard news ( i.e. orders ) is having a corrosive effect on the share price Agree with CliffPeat about the appearance of tidying up, or even window dressing for a possible suitor. ( Is the smart new website to sell the product, or sell the company?) On the other hand, if a couple of substantial contracts arrive shortly SRT is going to look a very tasty and valuable morsel indeed. 20 odd pence a year ago, circa 40 pence now. If it's 60/80 pence by the end of the year I for one would be quite happy. Applications and award of patents suggests to me protection of 'the moat' for some time into the future. Would be very interested to read LaValmy's take on this. Where are you Sir? | goodapple
27/2/2017 16:59 | if they miss forecast by what might be a massive number, is it time for Tucker to step aside?? | hjb1
27/2/2017 16:45 | I agree we want confirmation of orders today - but without innovation there will be fewer tomorrows IMO. Probably mistaken, but I sense a "tidying up" operation underway - good to do, but also what one advises clients who have one eye on an exit strategy. Just thinking aloud - DYOR | cliffpeat
27/2/2017 16:34 | Email received re: US and European patents: "SRT Marine Systems granted reversible radio transceiver patent SRT Marine Systems plc announces the granting of US patent 9473197 and European patent EP2951930 for its reversible time domain duplex (RTDD™) transceiver technology. Developed entirely in-house by SRT’s world-class radio technology engineering team RTDD is integrated into SRT’s AIS transceivers to simultaneously reduce cost and size whilst also improving performance. The technology enables a specific single RF architecture to be used simultaneously for both receiving and transmitting through electronic reversing of the RF chain between receive and transmit. This is achieved through a complex combination of intelligent selection of intermediate frequencies and ultra-fast switching. " | cliffpeat
27/2/2017 16:21 | SRT seem alive on the technology front...if not quite yet on the large orders front. A small berk as they showed they are alive. :-) | yumyum
27/2/2017 08:21 | Knowing what the reasons for the GoC decision would be helpful. Is it Ee or AIS that is the issue - or just that competitive services are cheaper and/or better? Would ST know? | cliffpeat

24/2/2017 09:52 | I thought it was fairly obvious? | hjb1
24/2/2017 09:39 | I've no idea, but whatever it is I don't see why it has to be the biggest anything. | yump
23/2/2017 19:26 | so you reckon they will come in right on forecast? lol | hjb1
23/2/2017 17:27 | Tucker will either pull the biggest rabbit ever, or tread on the biggest ever banana skin.../which will it be?? | hjb1
22/2/2017 22:10 | Funny, I was expecting a report on the conclusion of the first year of the big contract, before it had been concluded. Foolish I suppose. Also, I'd expect to be fully informed to the extent of at least saying 'the project is being done' or something similar. They could at least publish the entire specifications that have been negotiated over this first year. Sorry, what's that ? The Russians and Chinese are trying to find out all sorts of stuff about other countries defence plans, using cyber-terrorism ? Surely not. Must be tabloid scare-mongering. | yump
22/2/2017 21:56 | Confucius he say: when jam become profit, patent box has bread and butter to make best jam butty! Unless Schrodinger box, in which case, don't know - suitable Chinese philosophy not yet invented ;¬(( Life so hard, so hard... | supernumerary

22/2/2017 19:01 | tax benefits, really? | hjb1
17/2/2017 08:51 | May also have tax benefits. | supernumerary
17/2/2017 08:16 | Without GeoVS, SRT would be a loss making uninvestible business, so probably wise to make efforts to protect their vital asset. | owenski |
