27/12/2003 16:11 | Gedy this is about s far as it got. Then Km11 disappeared ! -------------------- km11 - 12 Nov'03 - 15:06 - 247 of 260 In posting 240 ubove, Bartbuild refers to a French company that were given shares. Does anybody know the name of that company? As an update, I met with Magenta One today. They approached the registrar for shareholder details but were refused by SWD. They therefore need the help of willing shareholders to provide such details. Bartbuild - if you read this posting, a suggestion is for you to e-mail the holders that you have on your list and ask whether they object for their details to be passed on to Magenta One. Magenta One are keen to pursue an action and to use this as a test case. They will provide me with an example of their passed success to give sceptical shareholders a feel for what can be achieved. I accept that most people have moved on and wrtten this one off to experience but it is felt that there is an opportunity here to get something back for us all. This is a no cost action, the company will take a small admin amount from the proceeds they are able to get back. Cheers, Kelvin | matters

11/11/2003 09:07 | Good luck. I had very few of these but am still annoyed at the loss. Why doesn't the liquidator furnish details of who got what? | gulliverr

06/11/2003 18:44 | Kelvin, any news, or have you given up? Dogpoo, have read some of primrose posts! Is he for real ? | matters
27/10/2003 13:15 | Bartbuild, thanks for your comments. I agree the share is history and all assets worth selling have been sold off. Magenta One specialise in an alternative approach, you will be surprised as to what avenues are open to such companies. It is because of the underhand practices, as you previously mentioned, adopted by the SWD management that I would at least like to see what - if anything - can be rescued for shareholders. The costs from Magenta One are NIL, I suspect they will take a portion of any monies recovered Best regards, Kelvin | km11
27/10/2003 10:54 | km11 I admire your position but having been there and done that this share is now history , the main components have been disposed Therefore any action u r trying to take are either going to be in effectual or at best very costly I agree with ur views in relation to being misled , but if you want to feel bad for someone try the owner of the thr french company who was given shares in the swd but was not allowed to dispose until after they went bust he lost 100000s and a third of his company In respect of inertia amongst shareholders I think you will find most have wriiten their investment off and moved on Good luck in your quest | bartbuild
27/10/2003 10:45 | It certainly looks that way. What I find disappointing is the inertia from some shareholders, they appear quick to criticise companies that appear to do little, but when it comes to them having to do something a more than buying/selling shares, apathy reigns. I am still going to continue because I feel I was deliberately misled by the old SWD management. Fingers crossed | km11 |
