Thought this one was dead and buried so had written it off. I hold just 15k shares which are still showing on my balance at TD Waterhouse. Is it worth registering, do we have a strong case?

I dont know the answer, but as the company no longer exists, there is no one to pay the listing fees.......... me thinks

Why is SWD still listed as a suspended stock in the financial papers, surely maintaining a listing costs money?

Some of you may be aware that a couple of us SWD holders, aggrieved by the believed undehanded actions of SWD Management, are trying to seek compensation through Magenta-One - a company that specialises in class actons.
If you would like to be included in the possible pursuit of an action (which should not cost us anything as the company will deduct any of their costs from proceeds receive) then please list the following details below:
ADVFN name, no of shares held, and if you wish, an e-mail contact address.
Andy (Matters) and me (KM11) have been talking with Magenta-One for the past couple of months. No promises of any compensation at this stage but at least it's worth pursuing given it's a no cost option.

Hi fellow SWD holders
Firstly, a happy new year to you.
Sorry for not responding of late but I have been out of the country for the last 6 weeks.
Me and Matters have been exchanging e-mails recently and it was suggested that I start a new thread, which I will do later today.
David Monks at Magenta-One is still keen to pursue this action and I will obtain a pregress report from him or Neil Shepperd, his partner.

Gedy your large holder is french and sold 50% of his company to swd before they did the dirty on him if you troll back through company you will find his details and you may find him more than ameniable as if i remember rightly he lost over 1m

I didn't mean to appear so depressed. All we can do is make ourselves known to Magenta-One and see what happens. As I said in my post #260 a class action needs a lead plaintiff, I'm not sure how they will go about finding one, I assume someone who has a large share holding. This is going to take time and if we get anything, it can only be a plus.

I've had a reply to my email to David Monks. They are investigating the possibilty of launching a class action. Sounds a bit iffy to me, we'll just have to wait and see.
