the only things really outstanding htrocka2 are funding and DPR licence to drill. both contingent on the FDP being accepted. DPR clearance, ipso facto, ratifies our 40% I reckon. Could that be it? In the bag but not yet released?

look on the bright side.....Cantor's new target of 2.3p may never be reached in the short term, but the consensus is that two thirds of the target IS achievable ......so 2p is a reasonable and an achievable target. The point being, why have they gone from 1p to 2.3p....because they know some thing we don't.

Drrichard .sirius have clearly been working to a fixed plan and timescale from last summer when bobo said he would be putting things in place to bring short term plans and all the company's plans together ,or I read that as to a conclusion ,fruition ,maturing or whatever words they have chose to use over the last twelve months.

They must be delaying for a reason Bron. IMHO although one reason might be to get Ororo up and running so all is smiles when the AGM comes, the other, much, much more interesting is that there will be an AGM agenda item that needs voting on, and they need to get it ready

Mr B, I agree re medium long term share price could be way over 2.3, and that is why we are here isn't it? Ororo should be the key to the Magic Kingdom.

I suppose from here its a case of news before AGM and if so depending on where the share price is we should be relatively happy ,if no news then we all have the opportunity to attend the AGM and voice our displeasure.Personally I believe we will be happy come the AGM but again that is only an opinion.

How can they upgrade it to 2.3p and it's never reached a penny - a year before that they had it at 3 or 4p - what a load of rubbish - wouldn't take a bit of notice of it!

No financial details of the deal (unless I've missed something) so no idea how it will be funded and how investors might be impacted. Plus they're awaiting gov't approval and a licence extension so acquisition is fairly speculative until they secure all of this. Bit like us releasing CPR info on Ororo but not being able to do anything until funding confirmation.

Market is fairly sceptical at the moment. It's not enough to announce a good asset, they want to fully understand how you're going to fund its development and whether it's actually economic at low commodity prices.

I am suprised Copl didn't get a better reaction to today's news ,going forward it is an excellent Nigerian play ..It shows that deals are being done and Nigeria is in the frame of mind to do business probably because they have limited choice..Other interests outside of Nigeria as a bonus.
