I'll try.... The BOD passed the resolution to issue themselves voluminous amounts of shares, that resolution is still in force up to Aug 5th. The problem is this. They've set up subsidiaries so as to allow themselves the prerogative to control the release of information from these Subsidiaries. They may decide to say nothing and release no info, or release it when it's most beneficial to themselves, however, the fact that they have knowledge of the work being done within these subsidiaries, even though they fail to release this knowledge, ...possession of such knowledge subjects them to the Closed Period Rule...hence can only issue themselves shares when all the info is out in the open and in the public domain. (my opinion only)

Can anybody put a spin on why the BOD did not issue the shares which was agreed and the AGM? Are there more BOD's to arrive and then they will issue them?

closed period..

(ii) any other period when the AIM company is in possession of unpublished price sensitive information;

They have a drill permit...if they confirm they are drilling.. I'd class that as price sensitive.

If they confirm that they're not drilling, I'd also class that as price sensitive.

so either way.....I'd say they're in a closed period.

Either scenario, if confirmed, may have an adverse or positive effect on share movement.
The fact that we've had no 'true' directors deals of late, enforces the possibility that this is indeed a Closed Period

No idea BH. We've not had a really meaningful RNS for a while now and even though we were told last year that funding discussions were at an advanced stage, it's still all very quiet. I've no specific evidence for there even being a closed period, it's just a case of trying to read all the possible signs and drawing conclusions. The RNS last week indicated to me that great care was taken to ensure the resulting same share holding....but it is still just a guess to be honest, as per most of the stuff on these boards!

Sherlock, At a guess, how far into a closed period do you think we are should that be the case?

Carr - I'd also be very surprised if a Cantor person used their surname when creating a username here. I disagree with you however on the never get to 2/3p view though, as does Hawkins, Havoc, Juniper, Cairn and everyone else that has recently taken warrants at this level despite the large variance to the prevailing share price.

The Chris N spread bet / ISA transaction confirms to me that we probably are in a closed period (care was taken to ensure not a single share was lost/gained from the original holding declaration) so we'll just have to continue to sit tight and see if anything good comes out of it.

Can you really ever see this getting to 2 or 3p - I can't. I can't believe people think that a poster on here is the same person as someone that works at Cantor because of a similar name - too far fetched!!

Could Granny be Tim Sandford, London broker at Cantor Fitzgerald? Maybe he and Jamie sit next to each other?

Doc, you've referred to Schlumberger to complete assessment of 241/blocks in March numerous times, is this public knowledge via rns ?

Personally I hope these theories are true probably 50/50 chance clearly they have had many issues and the ororo analysis took far longer than they anticipated, are they actually working on the block as well or not??? Too many unanswered questions still and no news as to when they are going to be addressed, are we looking for funding or a partner who knows nothing adds up!

Who said the conman posting under the avatar was REALLY in fact Jim Duggan from Cantor?
The evidence is clear, imo, and not denied by 'jimduggan', is that the manipulator behind that avatar is Chrisoil.

look back at posts 44202 to 44211 inclusive

Carr.i think from the Jim duggan revelation about him working at cantor if it is indeed true it shows that there is much manipulation in the stock markets and I doubt Jim was working on his own but probably part of a team.He would be on dodgy ground if it was proven and if anyone wanted to look deeper into it.
It is good experience because if we know the tricks these fellows use we can use it to our advantage.
