Bye juliemara and good luck. I would bow out too but I know that as soon as I sell the price will rocket.

Plus the largest shareholder willing to pay 15p/share for funds versus 11p current price.
No doubt he can see where Shuka is headed.

Here is the 75p a share summary, taken from LSE.

HawaiifiveO

Trying to put some perspective on the value of the proposed acquisition based on a heavily discounted scenario + fully diluted shares in issue and project NPV. I come up with 75p a share - where will the share price open at I have no idea but 10p will be history, the timing of the RNS will catch many out Tuesday so there could be opportunity to get in before others who may have missed the news.

Current m/cap here is circa £6m with only 60m shares in issue with management holding 50%, the free float is tiny.

The prospective deal has a NPV of $560m with resource in the ground valued at $2b (NB, numbers based on just 2 of 5 resources as per RNS)

Even if you allow for 75% risk discount for delays/inaccuracies/time etc on the NPV (at current FX rate £450m), would equate to £110m.

A simple translation £110m x fully diluted deal close 150m shares would equate to circa 75p a share and that is on only 2 of the 5 resources (if the full NPV was used it would be £3 a share)

Comments appreciated but the proposed deal is a mega one, possibly one of the largest in recent times for a AIM listed tiddler.

This has to open up circa 15p/20p and run on from there IMO.

Target prices are starting to appear, ranging from 67p to 75p (both heavily discounted) on the RNS stated NPV.

The non discounted TP would be IRO £3 a share !

if they did funding at 15p a share, that's only 39 million shares,so they'd still have less than 100 million share in issue and some fund will be in cash.

All the links concerning commentary about Shuka by Jason Brewer late last week have been removed. He said he was meeting Ministers and possibly the President of a African country and that there would be news aplenty over the next few weeks.

Tongue in cheek he said he hoped the Nomad was not watching the interview, well it looks like he was and that's why todays RNS came, the fact remains JB was exceptionally upbeat, the share price rallied strongly as a result.

You need to be in SKA to win when the news comes.

Why are we assuming a rocket in the SP? Is it just because of the warrant price? The fact that they're going to use SKA as a vehicle for whatever asset it is they're planning to buy doesn't make SKA any more valuable. If the mining site being purchased is a serious bargain why share it with the other 50% shareholders? Why not just buy it privately?? What am I missing??

I thought this might be worth raising again with a few minor adjustments.About two years ago Edenville Energy had very little money, a lacklustre board of directors, two second hand trucks and a few small piles of coal. The share price hovered around 25p.Now, as Shuka Minerals they have a, supposedly, high flying team of entrepreneurs at the helm, access to piles of cash and yet the share price languishes at 11p.Something still seems wrong but good luck all. Before I get accused of deramping I am heavily invested here and would dearly love to see the hype and wishful thinking translate into a decent share price.

Just for balance....About two years ago Edenville Energy had very little money, a lacklustre board of directors, two second hand trucks and a few small piles of coal. The share price hovered around 25p.Now, as Shuka Minerals they have a high flying team of entrepreneurs at the helm, piles of cash and yet the share price languishes at 9p.Something seems wrong but good luck all.

Yes but if you listened to Fairbairn he said he would ask about their entire suite of companies.

In respect of SKA I have a feeling they are going to use the listing as a vehicle to inject projects into. Those 25p warrants were very highly priced compared to the new teams entry point and they expire end December, these guys are so wealthy they could even take them up if the share price is under 25p, who knows.

It is clear IMO when the news hits it will be very value accretive, you could see the SKA listing as a shell therefore awaiting news.

I have a decent slice of stock and contented to wait.
