I will be amazed if they are able to sell Rukwa for anything approaching £6 million pounds. No one will want to buy a Mickey Mouse operation with two second hand trucks and very little coal production. Shuka will probably have to give it away and write off the book value causing the share price to collapse. Buy then if you are brave enough.

Major shareholder and former director Jason Brewer is in London this week and has tweeted business will include that of Shuka, speculation they may be about to dispose of the Rukwa coal project (on the books at circa £6m)

The disposal of Rukwa makes sense as the other director Quinton v Burgh investment vehicle has moved away from coal completely, if this speculation is true you may also see management changes.

I think the next few weeks will be interesting to say the least.

Only 60m shares in issue, Brewer and Quinton v Burgh hold 49% of them.

Something seems to be brewing, next to nothing online currently, this is another totally illiquid play with just 60m shares issued the BOD hold 49%.

Was 12.5p in March.

6.82p bid at the close and 6.82p now so they open at 6p instead of 6.5p in the hope somebody will think 6.82p is generous and take it while everybody else is paying 7.4p +

Totally agree investible ATM with funding needed we have seen multiple examples of fund raises recently T upto 70% discount so why but shares now knowing it's coming . Some people need their head examining and simply can't see the obvious .
Wait and buy them if you want after the sub 2p placing but to me it looks awful as a company so I won't be investing .

Market makers struggling to fill supply, now asking 6.8p for just £2k's worth.

Lots of online rumours to the positive concerning SKA currently.

You've been told only a few days ago that funds are needed soon.. Read the news tab.So it's likely a placing coming. This rise could be a part of that game, early offloading by those who are taking part in an upcoming placing at a lower price than what they're now selling them for....know the game.

Quinton being interviewed by Stockbox currently, news is expected soon enough, the panic sellers will regret heavily their sales.

Look for a material update(s) soon enough which may include personnel changes and/or completion of the acquisition.

Never a better time to buy if you can get any that is, if the deal is confirmed 20p+

So the two main players here hold 49% of the shares investing nearly £1.5m last year, namely Jason Brewer and the owner of the fund who will (eventually) put up the £2m into SKA namely Quinton v d Burgh.

It looks a no brainer buy down here, especially as Brewer has confirmed the acquisition is still going ahead and more news seems imminent.

When BOD's have that much skin in the game you follow their money.

No wonder you cannot buy many.

JB is available on X, has reiterated his holding of 11.7m shares, not happy with the share price, has spoken to QvB, from comments on social media and a few who have contacted him he has also suggested funding will come, has re-iterated that SKA continues to complete the acquisition, look out for more RNS updates shortly.

I have added, sellers will rue their exit IMO
