04/7/2016 14:43 | He says he has come off twitter, but i doubt that. Just like when he said he was in Dubai but was proven not to be. He had a group of investigators called FMX group after him though, so he may have gone to ground. | lydnem
04/7/2016 14:19 | Has he died? | 717ch
14/6/2016 08:37 | chris oil will buy them off you....he likes wasting other people money! | lydnem
13/6/2016 20:44 | Pretty much! You have shares in a private company, so if you want to sell you would have to find someone to buy them. There are rumblings they may try and relist on an exchange somehwere, but unless that happens your only option to sell wuold be to contact SER and ask if they know anyone that is looking to buy any shares, and arrange a sale on a matched bargain basis. | andy
13/6/2016 20:23 | Does that mean our shares are worthless | morleyga
13/6/2016 16:11 | Can anyone tell me if sefton is still afloat and what they are doing I lost them until I just found this thanks | morleyga
19/5/2016 16:02 | And perhaps the ADVFN shareholders would like to know why, in the 6 months Chambers & Hodges have been working on Sefton, the ADVFN share price has halved! | uknighted
19/5/2016 15:04 | so what fraction of a fraction is it worth now?. this is worth nothing from what i can see at first glance. | lydnem
18/5/2016 10:16 | I suspect that he is so desperate for cash after his disastrous investments, he needed click revenue on his self serving blog. | cyan
17/5/2016 23:23 | cyan, Yes anything's possible, let's see if our 'hero' returns from the dead! I did wonder whether he was advised to close them down, or whether he decided to walk by himself. That list describes him to a T. | andy
17/5/2016 22:09 | Just when you thought he had gone away; FMX_Gr @FMX_Gr · 7h7 hours ago @Jamieswan He will reopen it before 31 days is up. The closing of public social media is simply another example of ++++++++++++++++++++ Good link which describes CO very very well; Aggressive narcissism This is Factor 1 in the Hare Psychopathy Checklist,[citation needed] which includes the following traits: ⦁ Glibness/superficial charm ⦁ Grandiose sense of self-worth ⦁ Pathological lying ⦁ Cunning/manipulative ⦁ Lack of remorse or guilt ⦁ Callous/lack of empathy ⦁ Failure to accept responsibility for own actions | cyan
16/5/2016 15:16 | Well perhaps, but in the run up to this latest meltdown the mutual backslapping seemed to stop a while ago. | gheebee
16/5/2016 15:12 | Good afternoon GheeBee. I have reason to doubt there was ever any high court case against Optiva. My 'suspicion' is there may have been other money issues at play. I doubt CO will split from his mates. I wonder where all the money has gone? | cyan
16/5/2016 14:53 | Cyan, With Sefton there is one way and one way only. Now Chris Williams appears to have seen the light, distancing himself from Daniel Levi, Steffi and the others in the process, he can convene an EGM to appoint a new Board or Administrators. As for turning the Castle into a Hermitage, I suspect his High Court case against Optiva has been thrown out just like Levi's was earlier this year. OK, I'm guessing there but if they had won I think we would have heard about it. . | gheebee
16/5/2016 14:36 | Closing down his twitter and blog accounts. Blimey. Must have run out of money. | lr2
16/5/2016 13:17 | Good point GheeBee. Even if unethical things were going on how do shareholders seek redress? Have you seen this tweet from CO? is he going 'away' somewhere? Chris Oil @chrisoil · 10m10 minutes ago Time To Say Good-Bye Andrea Bocelli ( Featuring Sarah Brightman ) wmv hxxps://youtu.be/VYp | cyan
16/5/2016 12:30 | Not really a problem for directors of a BVI company. | gheebee
15/5/2016 17:55 | A compulsory wind up? That would have dire consequences for the directors. Extract; New rules coming into force in October 1st 2015 place more responsibility on the director and even allow possible compensation claims to be made against a disqualified director. Being disqualified from being a director was seen as some in the past as a ‘slap on the wrist’ but if you are found guilty of trading irresponsibly or fraudulently now you can face a claim for compensation too. It is unclear at this stage how this new ruling will be applied in practice but my advice is to avoid being wound up even more so. | cyan
11/5/2016 11:33 | Who is Chris addressing this tweet to? Chris Oil @chrisoil · 3h3 hours ago Top Gun - I feel the need for speed ++++++++++++++++++++ BMD perhaps. | cyan
10/5/2016 21:35 | I agree, everyone deserves a second chance. Shame he used up his second chance after the first spell in jail. | gheebee
10/5/2016 18:18 | I guess you could forgive a bank robber as everyone deserves a second chance. But you sense that one that never seems to learn or grow up and transforms into a conman and parasite in a suit will soomer or later end up in more bother. Mind you - I do wonder if BMD had started off his criminal career doing what he does now instead of 'physical robbery', whether he would ever have received a criminal record. Makes you think. | loverat |
