21/9/2011 14:34 | Perhaps they are capitalising the loss on the ordinaries while hoping for a tax free shift up on the CFD? | praipus
21/9/2011 14:33 | Fascinating you would think that CFD of Weiss's must be getting nasty now the share price has dropped 5%. Any ideas? Have seen them do this with ENG and they must have lost a packet there too. | praipus
10/8/2011 23:07 | Weiss sell SAPO shares but still hold 12% via CFD's? To see what else theyve bought or sold see the WAM thread: | praipus

22/7/2011 15:16 | Thanks Hoveite its quite interesting compiling though it take more time than I would like it to. I guess the question is how much risk do you take? | praipus
22/7/2011 15:14 | I have had a look at TRC ... I find the underlying assets of TRC hard to understand though. | hoveite

22/7/2011 14:21 | I do find your WAM thread useful by the way. Weiss in particular seem to come up with some interesting ideas! | hoveite
22/7/2011 14:08 | No RES but I have got PTH, HPEQ and SAPO. I notice a Laxey holding in RES I'm tracking their holdings on the WAM thread: | praipus
22/7/2011 13:47 | I don't hold this at the moment ... I'm thinking about making a purchase though. I do hold HPEQ, RES and PTH though which should all be returning cash to shareholders in due course. | hoveite
22/7/2011 13:30 | Thanks hoveite. You got many holdings like this? I.e. quiet backwater today liquidating cash cow the next? ....well hopefully. | praipus
22/7/2011 11:13 | They included the hit in their most recent half yearly report which stated an EPRA NAV of 127.3p. | hoveite
22/7/2011 11:04 | Assuming SAPO do not appeal and take a hit for £6.4m NAV is still £1.11 so content to hold. Encouraging that Weiss have bought more since March. | praipus
22/7/2011 11:02 | Just found this: "Date: Wednesday 30 Mar 2011 LONDON (ShareCast) - South African Property Opportunities (SAPO) has been ordered to pay more than £6m to its investment manager Proteus Property Partners. Proteus claimed that it was owed performance fees and management fees. The High Court has ruled in favour of Proteus in all material respects. SAPO has to pay £5.07m in performance and management fees, plus £360,000 for interest. SAPO also has to pay Proteus' costs, which will be at least £600,00. SAPO reckons that the full amount payable could be as much as £6.4m." | praipus |
