Just found this:
Date: Wednesday 30 Mar 2011

LONDON (ShareCast) - South African Property Opportunities (SAPO) has been ordered to pay more than £6m to its investment manager Proteus Property Partners.

Proteus claimed that it was owed performance fees and management fees.

The High Court has ruled in favour of Proteus in all material respects. SAPO has to pay £5.07m in performance and management fees, plus £360,000 for interest. SAPO also has to pay Proteus' costs, which will be at least £600,00.

SAPO reckons that the full amount payable could be as much as £6.4m.

If they wanted 1.5 or .5% of the/any return to share holders the executives should spend some of their salary step up and buy some shares shouldnt they?

£10m cash doing nothing. SAPO should give it back to shareholders before they loose any more IMHO.

Economic situation dreadfull and seemingly getting worse though blamed on the post world cup effect.

No mention of share price discount to NAV.

Have you ever seen this in an annual report?

"Executive Directors' fees
The Executive Directors received annual basic salaries of (see annual report), increased to (see annual report) with effect from 1 October 2009.
Pursuant to the terms of their respective service agreements, Craig McMurray and John Chapman are entitled to incentive
payments of, respectively, 1.5 per cent. and 0.5 per cent. of (a) all sums distributed to shareholders, and (b) all net proceeds of
disposals which have not yet been distributed at the time of termination of their respective agreements. The agreements also
contain change of control provisions which, from the fourth anniversary of each executive's appointment, trigger payments of the
same percentages of any offer price if the Company is acquired. The fees due under the change of control provision are scaled
back by 25 per cent. each year if the change of control occurs prior to the fourth anniversary of each executive's appointment."
