30/10/2010 13:24 | Lol Ratel, had a similar experience driving from the west country to London a few weeks ago, loads of 'em! Jotoha, yup that's the way it works sometimes, other times they're openly discussed on sites such as Alphaville. They're not a big deal until a journo has been coaxed into talking about them publicly IMHO. | argylerich
30/10/2010 13:18 | Argy , you know how this works , I can mention rumours and time will confirm if there is some substance . | jotoha2
30/10/2010 13:13 | Oddly enough, I've seen an increase in CNT vans in the Leeds area over the past fortnight or so. Perhaps the new owners have re-energised the workforce! | ratel
30/10/2010 13:12 | do you have a source Jotoha? | argylerich
30/10/2010 08:10 | Some rumours circulating around the city that slide rules are again being run over ROK , interesting to see if there is any substance this time around. | jotoha2
29/10/2010 09:01 | Snaffle, you posted in a manner doubting the contract - then removed it, me thinks maybe you've confused CNT with ROK, it was CNT that went bust, and it's their vans that aren't seen any more ;) | argylerich
28/10/2010 17:34 | On the positive side very big advert for Gas Plumb and Elecs in todays Sun. | snaffleclamp
28/10/2010 17:10 | Why don't you do some research on the S A contract then let us know what b/s you find. | snaffleclamp
28/10/2010 16:06 | so after posting a load of b/s you edit to hide... Lol | argylerich

28/10/2010 13:50 | exile, Lots of speculation - where are the facts. | deucetoace
28/10/2010 13:48 | exile, Banks owed a lot???? 47.6m on a company with over 600m revenue??? That's barely 8% of revenue!!! You're going to have to try a lot harder than that Mr Inside Info ;) | argylerich
28/10/2010 13:09 | What performance guarantees do you need to carry out insurance work... most of it small works, man and a van jobs? Furthermore Tesco are renowned for tying down their suppliers on the tightest of margins. It could be the same here...loads of turnover..wafer thin profit. (edit) and Tesco always have lots of cash held as they are slow payers .. that is their insurance policy. | exile
28/10/2010 12:57 | In relation to the banks and their concerns would you all like to consider the recent news that Tesco have entrusted them with half their repair business. It is difficult to believe that they would have done this without crawling all over the Rok accounts and requiring a performance guarantee from their bank. Need I go on? | peter27
28/10/2010 12:38 | ArgyleRich - 25 Oct'10 - 11:55 - 1451 of 1479 Exile, The banks were that panicked about the state of the accounts, that they weren't planning on getting people into ROKs offices until Nov/Dec, according to the FT comment on the subject a while ago. Now where's that rolling eyes smiley? -------------------- Do a bit more digging regarding the banks concerns............ | exile
28/10/2010 11:12 | Here we go again.. another amateur trying to de-ramp.. I'm afraid to tell you you're a bit behind snaffle ;) | argylerich
28/10/2010 10:22 | err money for doing work snaffle...? | argylerich
