30/3/2010 13:53 | Agree Chris - more to the point was why did it shoot up so much in the first place. These guys just can't seem to get enough margin out of their products to turn a profit; they seem more than happy just to break even. | joan of arc
30/3/2010 12:59 | looks like patience will be the key, I suppose it has fallen back because there are no 'fireworks'...will add in a few weeks.. | chrisdgb
30/3/2010 11:32 | ps i've just had to get advfn to ban a poster today who's intent was to try to start ramping or pumping the pmk stock. This was a clasic pump for one poster in particular late last year who was pushing it across a couple of sites. I've been reading share sites for more than a decade now and its a problem thats increasing, something needs to be done again what? | envirovision
30/3/2010 11:26 | Just reading the interesting thread guys as catching up on results (I dont hold by the way but am watching). I can add something, I had to filter/ban Buystock due to this poster not only pumping/dumping on the eee threads created, but also for lying. I was reading a poster who mention riverstreet holdings or something to do with 1tps tipping magazine questioning if it was them, it was refuted but it makes you wonder about just how organised it is. Certainly something is far from right from some of these characters who appear like buystock, but i dont know what the answer is. | envirovision
30/3/2010 10:49 | No Dell, i've not seen treacle but you have to be suspicious that he/she is still posting here but if so he/she has totally changed her style and gave up on the multiple bulletin board ramping of stocks. I have Tara filtered, just a mindless ramper of stocks along with her sidekick amazon-woman, both unable to post about fundmentals, just ramp none stop until the mugs buy in and they cash in, it's a good living if you dont mind writing lie after lie eh ! Buystock was william dell, i know you have your doubts but it was him but gone for now. | watchout2
30/3/2010 10:02 | Dell. I've never been wrong in 5 years spotting his new names, there's lots of pump and dumpers but none so unique as william, he's easy to spot. Anyway he seems to have so many enemies now that others must be complaining to advfn and not me, i dont bother anymore, people have just had enough of him and who can blame them. | watchout2
30/3/2010 09:39 | watchout - many pump'n'dumpers use similar posting styles and many people confuse too/to and their/they're/there etc but I don't see those as suitable evidence to form a conclusion. The same dreadful penny and decimal stocks are regular haunts of most pump'n'dumpers too, as they're usually illiquid and can be periodically marketed for a quick gain, if a few mugs can be sucked in. If you are expecting the FSA to deal seriously with a complaint, I'd suggest you need harder evidence to link user names to the same poster, otherwise you will undermine the credibility of the rest of your case. I've probably seen much less of buystock than you have (as I currently hold over 100 different stocks, so I'm having to spend much more time keeping abreast of company reports etc), but I don't see the style as immediately identifiable as william. FWIW, I thought william mysteriously vansished over a year ago, anyway..... Rgds dell | dell314
30/3/2010 08:42 | watchout2 - what makes you think buystock is graham/william (as you've been posting on other threads). True he appears to be a shameless pump'n'dumper but the posting style doesn't look that similar to me... Rgds dell | dell314
30/3/2010 08:31 | ps i saw you ramping this on your thread, what kind of results are they ? Market cap the same as a couple of my favourite holds, i certainly expect better results than this ! | watchout2
30/3/2010 08:10 | No bid new but I suspect any bidder is going to look at the results first before showing their hand. Will be watching the trades over the coming week or so. CR | cockneyrebel
29/3/2010 13:43 | yep, someone has clearing been buying way over the market price for a reason imo. Cr | cockneyrebel
29/3/2010 12:09 | well it will be interesting to see the results in the morning.... | chrisdgb
19/3/2010 14:44 | I was wondeing if perhaps "Industrial Acquisition Vehicle Limited" are on their way back with another bid? The bid was withdrawn in September but now 6 moths are up they can bid again. They still hold 24% if my memory serves me correct. CR | cockneyrebel
19/3/2010 14:08 | CR You probably would have done on a T20 | red army
19/3/2010 13:24 | Well spotted CR. I think we're all feeling pretty confident. | arc2006
19/3/2010 13:07 | Why did someone pay 8p for 100K yesterday when the ask was 7p? Why is someone buying 100K today at 9p? All when the results are 10 days away. Keen aren't they for some reason? CR | cockneyrebel
18/3/2010 16:41 | 45% jump today should result in RNS comment.rise from results?takeover more likely imo. | meadow50
18/3/2010 16:19 | Its good to see how effective the FSA are at stamping out insider info. | red army
18/3/2010 16:01 | Agree, all sensible stuff and lots of mileage left here, it has been too long unloved.. | chrisdgb
18/3/2010 15:52 | Hmm. I'm really looking forward to results now. The rally has started rather early. I'm thinking this backdoor into the US via control of Hatch is really going to pay off. We're headed for top three risers today, so that may well generate a bit more interest as it's been fairly static here recently. We may well get another dividend too. | arc2006
17/3/2010 08:42 | what would also be nice would be another special dividend.... | chrisdgb
11/3/2010 09:17 | unfortunately the spread is a bit of a pain, probably have to pay 5p for stock now.... agree with you Joan about the quality of the management, I believe they have been quietly engineering a significant recovery here which will be evident (hopefully) in the coming results... | chrisdgb |
