10/3/2010 20:46 | Have to say the spread stinks with RTS. Might go with MIRL instead. | zedder
10/3/2010 13:28 | Don't shout elsewhere yet. I put a sell order for LLOY in this morning at 54.4p (from 49p). Pretty sure I'll be placing a buy order for RTS tomorrow. Just want time to read through a few things tonight. | zedder
10/3/2010 11:51 | Chris, I am the only other one that talks here and agree with your sentiment. You should post it on other BBs. I have 300k already, bought at an average of 8.5p. I would buy more but just do not have the cash. This is probably the postion for many small PIs as well, as people are starting to hurt. I think we will just have to be very patient and be content to live on the special divis when they come along. The other plus for me is I think that the management here really believe in the interests of the PI which is so rare for AIM companies so I will, at least, continue to hold. | joan of arc
10/3/2010 09:04 | just remember current market cap is basically cash, irrespective of operating businesses which are improving... then the real upside is the Doerfer loan notes, which if paid down would Double the amount of cash.... ie nearly 10p per share just cash... | chrisdgb
10/3/2010 08:54 | I am obviously talking to myself here but I urge you to look at this company, the currency is not only helping the balance sheet but also the revenue line with lots of exports..... Strong buy into the results..... | chrisdgb
05/3/2010 15:35 | The FX situation really does make this a no brainer, ready for the next move up here.... discount to cash....let alone if the Doerfer notes pay out..... | chrisdgb
01/3/2010 15:37 | The stronger $ against £ makes this even more of a bargain... Results sometime this month should be interesting.. | chrisdgb
12/2/2010 08:05 | nice acquisition announced last night, will be good to go into expansion phase again.. | chrisdgb
22/1/2010 23:17 | The rns today said that IAV bought the shares at 2.5p and will not be biding... 2.5? Seems low but I guess the buyer and seller knwo more about the business than I do? | pejaten
22/1/2010 23:15 | How on earth did IAV get all those shares for 2.5p?? I would have bought a load at that price if I could have. | joan of arc
21/1/2010 14:53 | I suspect that they could take this out for around 8p which would probably be cheaper that what management was looking for - say 12p at least. | red army
21/1/2010 08:42 | someone had to pay 5.5 for 20-, this could get interesting.. | chrisdgb
21/1/2010 08:28 | Crikey, even mentioned in the FT: Robotic Technology Systems added 5.5 per cent to 4¾p after Industrial Acquisition Vehicle declared an increased holding of 28.7 per cent. IAV ended take-over discussions with RTS in September after they were unable to agree on price. | chrisdgb
21/1/2010 08:00 | Article from the Manchester Business News: Investors raise stake in Robotic Technology Systems A Jersey-registered company has increased its stake in Robotic Technology Systems Plc (AIM: RTS), the Salford-based maker of automated handling systems for the food and life science sectors. Industrial Acquisition Vehicle Ltd, which is backed by London-based investors, made an abortive takeover approach for RTS last year. The two sides were unable to agree terms but IAV said it wanted to remain involved with the company and put one of its directors on the board. Today RTS announced that IAV bought another 2.63 million shares on November 26 last year, taking its holding to 17.9 million or 28.73 per cent. | chrisdgb
20/1/2010 15:22 | A reminder of what they said: IAV wishes to inform that it has been unable to agree price and terms with the board of RTS for a full takeover offer for the Company and, accordingly, is no longer considering making such an offer. IAV nevertheless remains the Company's largest shareholder and expects to support the Company in developing a successful and profitable strategy over the coming months. And now they have bought more... | chrisdgb
20/1/2010 14:05 | Well here we go, can't believe the price has not moved, the bidder buys more: Robotic Technology Systems plc, by a notice in writing dated 15 December 2009, has been notified by Industrial Acquisition Vehicle Limited of St Helier, Jersey, JE1 0DB, that on 26 November 2009 it purchased 2,632,322 ordinary shares of 1p each in the capital of the company, from Advanced Robotics Foundation. 11/1/2010 13:32 | looks like we are running down the available stock... | chrisdgb
11/1/2010 11:45 | Article last week in US trade press shows potential for Flexible Systems: Robotics remains in the early stages of implementation into bakeries and snack manufacturing plants. Although robots are being applied in new areas, there are still many processes where robotics could be incorporated in the future as further advances are made. "Many bakeries have only started to look to robotics in the past few years versus other industries that have been using robotics for decades," | chrisdgb
08/1/2010 15:51 | mm's shutting up shop... | chrisdgb
08/1/2010 11:37 | Ineed I am always amazed at how undervalued the market lets thigs get just because they never say anything... I got the feeling in my communication that things will change but we will see.. | chrisdgb
08/1/2010 11:31 | Cheers Chris.. we are both on the same page regarding undervaluation here.. But if there is absolutely no form of PR/IR then who the hell would know about it.. I suppose that is were the opportunity lies... Would be nice to see a write up in one of the share mags or some press coverage... | teelo3
08/1/2010 10:52 | Long overdue move upwards, must get my top up in as the mm's have no stock in this... | chrisdgb
08/1/2010 10:01 | Have a look at the Directorate announcement on September 29th The 6p is purely my guess As discussed above a bid closer to 10p is probably a more realistic level.. | chrisdgb
08/1/2010 09:58 | Hi chris... How do you know it was H2w who bid? Was it not under the guise of Industrial Acquisition Vehicle? Also how do you know it was a 6p bid? | teelo3
08/1/2010 08:31 | the key is to get more interest in this stock.... | chrisdgb |
