I bet the bid doesn't go through. Insiders knew this was happening before the announcement and the fact that the price is drifitng tells me that this will fall through pretty soon. As I said before any price below 10p is shafting us.

stewacg - You're quite right. The figure I quoted was to end December. At that point, the overall NAV was £3.826m. This would equate to 6.2p per share. Given that a profit is forecast, I can't imagine it going for any less. But then the share price was 3p yesterday morning, so who knows what'll happen!?

Gingerplant, I have no idea what price anyone might offer but you need to remember this statement from the management in the final results:

"The cash position at 29 March 2009 was GBP3.8m."

as opposed to the figure that you quoted at year end. Of course we have no idea whether assets have decreased accordingly. But it did rather look as though they might have kitchen-sinked the results in preparation for potential sale as high tech export markets improve due to the low pound.

IF a bid materialises, my estimate is 8-9p (or equivalent) valuing RTS at £4.9 - 5.6m, based on its NAV of £3.8m (inc cash of £2.8m) at the last count and this morning's opening price of 3p. It should be more, IMO, but if they insist on more, the deal will collapse - this is all guesswork of course!

You were right, fat lot of good because you weren't in! - you couldn't stay in one place longer than 2 seconds so you missed all the one's you've ramped since Christmas.

It's funny, the same thing happened on Pure Wafer Treacle/Kirstie - lot of good it did them (and no, they haven't gone bust yet)......

I hope thaey are not going to sell out. After all these years I had just seen the green shoots of hope (plus their cash). Going forward they have got to be worth more than 10p.

Quick actual question for anyone who isn't looking to pump and dump... what will happen to RTS's cashflow if the pound continues to strengthen against the dollar.. a lot of last years cashflow came from positive move in F/X?
