Bigloser, I topped up today despite pessimistic market conditions all round. IMO the share price will only go forward if there is a suggestion of a dividend, no matter how small. Like you I fail to comprehend the share price sliding when there is actual production.

Is it me or am I missing something????? We have just sold 4951.1 ounces of Gold and generated $4,533,001 of revenue from just 14 days of pouring...yet the Company's Market value does not even reflect 10 times this amount...if we reach as the Directors aim to achieve, 110,000 ounces per year, then this should generate over $100,000,000 per year. Have I got the figures right or am I missing the plot?????

From the latest RNS - Is this worrying esp. if you hold TMP (which I do) all IMHO

"Templar Minerals entered into the irrevocable purchase deal back in March,
and said at the time it would pay the 8.6 million pound purchase price within 30
days of the River Diamonds general meeting, which took place on March 31".

This is still being held down by the TMP share purchase, the mm's cannot let this go until they complete that particular trade. Look at that 404k apparent sell, this is more likely part of the TMP purchase timed to look like a sell to keep the share price down. The mm's cannot afford to have a host of buyers. This is fine as a slow rise is far better than a massive rise followed by a massive fall on profit taking. We have a very bright future to look forward to with RVD & TMP with dividends likely with the large amounts of cash that future gold sales will produce. Dont forget they also 100% own a second gold mine and are ramping up exploration and production at Vatokoula. I have bought more at a very good price this morning and will further increase as funds are available. Patience will bring it's own reward.

looks like everything beginning to work in the mine, and seems to be up to the local management to increase the pace. dyor. From other boards there is alot of speculation as to the future trajectory of the gold price, mainly speculating upwards. imho.

OK not the 28,000oz predicted by RVD but that was always going to be very very hard to achieve with a new start operation and the unknowns that always arise. (power issues now resolved) What I do see is a very positive statement that shows a steady upwards hike in production and subsequent gold production. So what do we have here...well NO DEBT and another $13.7m to bank from the gold produced up to 14th July. We now have a strong cash generative situation going forward. Where will this be at the year end....who knows. But with the progressive attitude of the company I cannot see any down side so will be getting more shares to hold for the profits to come from a climbing future share price.

A name change to reflect the ownership off 2 gold mines has to be good as gold is where the money is at the moment. Any diamond income would be a bonus along with the silver (not mentioned in the RNS)

And still they sell. I wonder how low it has to go before the sellers give up.

At the current share price the company is valued at £54m (1.88 billion shares in issue.)

Gold in the ground minimum 800,000 ozs assume production costs at $450 oz then at gold in the ground at current values is $920 - $450 = $470 an ounce x 800,000 = $3.76 billion. They are also seeking to increase the mines output which would increase the gold in the ground value even more. PLUS they have just finished their first full months gold production and will announce the pour results very soon. Gold will now be produced EVERY month adding to profits.

They also have 100% ownership of another gold mine in Brazil plus diamond exploration assets in Sierra Leone ( licence being renegotiated)

The share price is a complete nonsense as the current valuation per share is a minimum of 20pence

seagreen, thanks for your reply, I was wondering what was causing the delay.

Wolst sorry of course I forgot these advfn fellas never update the market cap, must try harder!! still makes the yield somewhere between 10 to 20% though!

Wolst re cash cost I had heard around 450/490 so I rounded it up. The last gold find they found all be it a small amount I gather is fairly open pit so that will be significantly lower though. I am not sure exactly how much but I think we are talking up to a years production, but dont quote me.

Ged5 glad you pointed out that I gather the delay in the last share payment in cash or shares due from TMP is purely a spat between the previous owners as they apparently took away/removed a whole lot of equipment theyy believed was not part of the aquisition which TMP/RVD believe to be theirs as soon as that little tif is sorted TMP will do the share transaction. It has no baring on the day to day operations!

seagreen: Market cap is £57m (circa 1900m shares) and 100k ounces at say $600 cash-cost would cash-flow £15m, probably £10m after G+A and exploration, £7m after tax, p/e of 8.

if your figures are different please tell

cash cost is the key - competent person thought high 600s but others seem to think it could be less than 500. FWIW HMB, MCR, PAF, SRB etc all in the same boat with regard to valuations.

Isn't the share price being held back because of the delay in TMP's announcement about the latest purchase of shares?

Once we get that announcement I'm expecting buyers to return. At the moment the uncertainty is putting investors off imo.

As for the diamonds I gave up long ago any hopes of Ewing finding anything. He has an unblemished record of failure. He has been given a lifeline by Lenigas whose good fortune seems to go on.

News of June mining targets being reached should also get us noticed.
