11/8/2008 09:26 | Taken from yesterday's Sunday Times. Sorry couldn't find a link: "A Canadian billionaire is taking AIM listed group Templar Minerals to the high court over the sale of a mine in Fiji. Walter Berukoff sold the mine to River Diamonds in return for £8.5m in shares in the company, which Templar agreed to buy before the end of April 2008, according to papers filed at the High Court in May. Berukoff is taking Templar to court because he says the deal has not happened. He plans to confront River Diamonds' directors at its annual meeting this week." | davew28

"Most of the obstacles we faced have been or are now being resolved. We look forward to continuous gold operations from the mine as we move forward towards full production," he said. "A lot has been achieved in the short time, since the company took over operation of the mine. "With gold pours now occurring weekly and the average grades recovered steadily improving, we believe we are now in an excellent position to reach production of 110,000 ounces by the middle of 2009." | rokkie

30/7/2008 16:34 | It is a little worrying, I had hoped for a slight rise in the share price in the run up to the AGM. Also RVD said that they would only issue updates every 3 months from now on so I expect the shares to drift down in between and hopfully rise on any positive news. | droftarts

29/7/2008 19:58 | RNS From 21/7/200 River Diamonds PLC ("the Company"), a gold mining and exploration company operating in Fiji, Sierra Leone and the Federative Republic of Brazil, announces that its Annual General Meeting will take place on 15 August 2008 at 10:00am............. Note;.....They're still saying "operating in Sierra Leone" Wonder if we'll get any news of the licence being re-newed at the AGM?
