03/7/2008 23:32 | diamonds? have they applied for a renewal of their license in panguma? | true genius
03/7/2008 20:51 | No one is going to lose out with this company. It owns 100% of a producing gold mine and also into diamonds. The share has dropped due to general market weakness and will rebound big time now that gold is coming out of the ground. just wait and see the month on month gold production for 2008/9 and then tell me the share is not worth 10p plus and that I would say is a very conservative estimate. TMP with the large share base that they hold in RVD are also going to profit hugely from the gold production. | silveraw
02/7/2008 13:23 | The market is up. Volume is low. Buys outweigh sells. RVD is down 0.25p An RNS is due. MM's must want stock badly! | tasciovanus
01/7/2008 20:38 | Seagreen...I agree....this should be alot higher than it is now. However ...people are selling just when we are expecting an exciting RNS from Fiji!!!! Why!!!! | bigloser
01/7/2008 18:57 | bigloser, well we have the gold price now moving in the right direction as everyone panics and this is a producer, so I would be surprised if when we started producing over nearly 800 oz odd a month this would not be nearer to 10p tham 4p. | seagreen
01/7/2008 18:53 | You obviously haven't heard the media in Ireland today, but as for ramping, most certainly not. MMM 1.5 million people watching the news on RTE, or a few people reading this, get real. There are some readers of both threads, and as an announcement flag didn't appear today, i thought i would let them know. Rvd down??? | goldeneye5
01/7/2008 18:39 | Ramping Conroy methinks...LOL | silveraw
01/7/2008 15:34 | None, just another interesting play, but point taken. | goldeneye5
01/7/2008 14:59 | OK and the relationship to RVD ? | silveraw
01/7/2008 10:35 | Sorry. 1 million ounce gold resource reported at Clontibret (Conroy Diamonds &Gld) 1 July 2008 Conroy Diamonds and Gold plc ("Conroy Diamonds and Gold" or the "Company") 1 MILLION OUNCE GOLD RESOURCE REPORTED AT CLONTIBRET * Indicated Resources Now Stand At 440,000 Ounces; 590,000 Ounces Inferred * New Total Relates To Only 20 per cent Of The Clontibret Target Area * Ongoing Drilling Programme Expected To Increase Total Resources Conroy Diamonds and Gold (AIM: CDG) announces a substantial upgrading, to over 1 million ounces, of the JORC-compliant gold resource at its Clontibret project in Ireland. This follows further evaluation and appraisal work by independent mining consultants G. Zandonai et al on the earlier announced estimates. The directors believe that this is the first gold resource of over 1 million ounces to be reported in Ireland or the UK. These latest JORC-compliant Mineral Resources relate to an area amounting to only 20 per cent. of the Clontibret target anomaly. Infill drilling is ongoing in this area and is expected to increase the Mineral Resource. Drilling has also commenced at other sites within the remaining 80 per cent of the Clontibret target anomaly. Using a 0.75 g/t cut-off (previously 1.00g/t), which brings the Company in line with its peer group, the Indicated Resources now stand at 11.0 million tonnes grading 1.24 g/t for 440,000 ounces gold contained. Total Mineral Resources, also at a 0.75 g/t cut-off, amount to 25.0 million tonnes grading 1.28 g/t for 1,030,000ounces gold contained. (Using the previous 1.00g/t cut-off, the new total represents a 70 per cent increase on the previously announced Mineral Resources). Indicated Resource Tonnes (Mt) 11.0 Grade g/t @ 0.75g/t cut-off 1.24 Resource ounces gold 440,000 Inferred Resource Tonnes (Mt) 14.0 Grade g/t @ 0.75g/t cut-off 1.32 Resource ounces gold 590,000 Total Resources Ounces Gold 1,030,000 The Mineral Resources have been estimated in accordance with international standards compliant with the JORC classification. Commenting today, Chairman, Professor Conroy said: "We are very pleased to have achieved our initial target of over 1 million ounces of gold in only 20 per cent of the Clontibret target with an increase in Indicated Resources to over 400,000 ounces. The revised cut-off grade brings us in line with our peer group and gives the Company a sound basis for pre-feasibility studies". This release has been approved by Kevin McNulty PGeo, who is a member of the Company's technical staff, who holds a BSc/MSc in Geology and Remote Sensing, in accordance with the guidance note for Mining, Oil & Gas Companies issued by the London Stock Exchange in respect of AIM Companies, which outlines standards of disclosure for mineral projects. 30/6/2008 21:30 | Interesting conclusion Seagreen...what sort of time scale to you think before it achieves 16p-20p. I am a firm believer in RVD...over 3 years holding and topping up whenever I can..I originally thought that with production starting and gold being poured, it would have reached the levels that you state. I do feel that we have missed a trick with not pushing harder to get our licence in Panguma back and developing what we orginally set out to do...mine diamonds and LOTS of THEM!!!!! Perhaps we will be surprised in the near future regarding this...who knows??? | bigloser
30/6/2008 09:55 | Posted on traders thread today for general thoughts and if I have the figures wrong please feel free to put other valuations up there etc etc.....might be the safest place ot leave ones money for a year? seagreen - 30 Jun'08 - 09:49 - 26 of 27 edit rvd market cap now valuing gold oz in the ground as low as US$8.5/oz with an estimated extraction cost of around US$450m/oz and a sale price in excess of US$900m/oz this does now look a tad cheap. The lowest per oz in the ground valuation I have seen is around US$25/per oz. This would imply on an oz in the ground basis River Diamond is at least 2 to 3 times undervalued. As it ramps up production to 100,000 per year (historicaly this has been achieved and bettered, this would also imply it is 2/3 times undervalued on a production basis (between US$2000/4000 per annual oz produced. It would also be throwing off a cash flow of some US$45,000,000 per annnum or 1.2p a share per year. (edit got my zeros wrong) But hey I like shouting in the wind with no one listening to me...knock knock anyone out there with a mathmatical brain? (Releavant data 1,902,371,072/shares current mid value 3.75p/mkt cap £71.3m/resource 5.15m oz. | seagreen

27/6/2008 10:33 | 3.28 100k another buy. They must really be desperate to shift stock | wolstencroft
27/6/2008 07:46 | silveraw - I did read your post. All I was asking for was the date of the RNS you quoted. You seem to have taken offence where none was intended. | wharfedale
26/6/2008 22:27 | Wharfdale if you read my post you will see that I said *A previous RNS did advise that they HOPED to declare dividends as soon as possible." which is entirely consistent with the directors statement which you correctly stated to be "if or when sufficient distributable reserves are available the Directors intend to pursue a progressive dividend policy." So I do not see what you problem is. As soon as possible can be soon or never. | silveraw
26/6/2008 21:34 | silveraw - my last info on dividends was in the re-admission and acquisition document of 13.03.2008 when the company said "14. Dividend Policy The Directors do not envisage declaring a dividend in the short to medium term. However, if or when sufficient distributable reserves are available the Directors intend to pursue a progressive dividend policy." Has there been something since this statement which I have missed - if so, can you point me in the right direction? Thanks. | wharfedale
26/6/2008 15:35 | OK so it's a bit on the red side today but all is not as it seems. Add up all the trades at 3.55 (buys) or over and you have a net buy over sell total of well over 200k (calculated at 3:15 pm). Hardly a problem is it?. The drop in the share price is engineered yet again by the mm's who want as much stock as they can get at these low low prices knowing full well that they can sell at a far higher price once the gold pour RNS's star coming through. There is a further benefit for TMP in all off this as RVD with the gold/silver/diamonds produced will very quickly move into a very big profit and the subsequent dividends will give TMP a large cash injection based on their vary large share holding in DVD. A previous RNS did advise that they hoped to declare dividends as soon as possible. I have a large holding in RVD and will most certainly be keeping the shares looking for a very favourable return in the quite near future. (I have bought more this week.) Yes I also hold TMP and this will also rise on an RNS gold pour. | silveraw |
