Haven't got my shares yet. I have a feeling we were told to expect the cash at the end of the month.

Thanks zho,

I'm still wondering whether or not to keep SPI - and then what to do with the cash?

Does anyone know when the SPI takeover will be completed?

I will be holding mine. SPI has performed well for a while now and everything looks on track. RAS will be a good fit and I think this is a safe haven during this turbulent period

SPI is certainly not cheap but the business does reflect this.
Cant see there is much risk to holding ....

APPP, yep, I'll be doing the same and perhaps buying more on any weakness.

SPI looking strong and have faired well through the market turmoil, may keep their shares after all - anyone else have a view?

Someone has been reading my post (356) and bought nearly £2m of RAS.. lol...

Don't think the SPI shares will fall that much if at all.
RAS was a very cost effective bolt on for them and its a money spinner from day one. SPI are not cheap but then again they are cornering a very lucrative market.

OK that makes sense, I suppose nearer the time there will be a rise to something equating the final pay-out. I think I'll hold onto mine until then and see what I'm getting for my patience. Also a bit warey of the SPI shares plummeting on the takover date when people like me sell there new aquisitions.

Why is nobody buying these now. Surely they offer a guaranteed small profit at these levels unless SPI share price dives? Or is the possibility of this the reason that only selling is happening?

Have I missed something?

My worry I suppose was that SPI may fall significantly (even less than 512p) on the day of transfer as people like me sell off their 'new' SPI shares by the bucket load?

Thanks, but IYO will the prospect of the new RAS share holders entering SPI and then dumping immediately bring down SPI significantly even if general sentiment is good for SPI? I agree that SPI has been a good performer but I have made my mind up to take profits on this one and maybe have a look at SPI later.
It's a good position to be in but I would like to eek a few extra quid out of this one if that's possible.
