An interesting factsheet, but what was the date of issue (no date given). I Agree it would be comforting to have an update. I'm holding off from a sizable to-pup for now

It's Fronby btw

Worth refreshing here chaps, clearly goes against what Fronby/Munters has said.

All from a chap who visited the island for a day.

So the islanders don't want free electricity they'd rather sell it then pay more to buy it back and use it, how clever. Bit like milking a cow, flog the milk to local co-op for 50p then buy it back for £1.50, the milk from your cow. Brilliant stuff.

Thought whole point of storage was to integrate renewables onto grid, or we now listening to a man from the pub who knows nothing?

Besides it's not the reason for delay, it's going ahead, just BS to make some sell IMO.

Reading the content over on LSE leads me to believe the Directors of REDT have deceived the shareholders. They've blagged on about the Gigha installation & its virtues to the islanders & infact it's not in use, nor by the sounds of it, will be used. A big white elephant sat on a remote island.

When you do something for the very first time you learn the most, take that stage slowly, learn everything you can. With this knowledge the next one is ten times faster in completion and takes much less man power.

Patience.

May be the unit will sit in the hotel lobby doing nothing, like Gigha.

UK Regulatory (RNS & others)

A second, larger Gen 2 15kW, 75kWh machine is currently being manufactured for redT's customer, the Thaba Eco hotel, which is located in Johannesburg, South Africa.
--------------------------------------------------------------
This must be the machine that Scott has tweeted about yesterday.

I hope they RNS its shipment as this is a good milestone and Gen2 getting into Africa.

Volume first? Looks to me like sideways could go on, with surprise to the upside.

They certainly owe us an RNS to update us on a number of issues, i.e. Gigha, orders, manufacturing etc.

Now,what I don't fully understand is this: In an interview with BRRmedia on 15th December, Scott said that they had produced 10 small units, 7 large ones, shipped their first Gen2 system, and sold Gen2 units as well.

And yet this latest twitter post is saying that this is their first Gen2 unit ready for shipment.
So now I'm confused! Can anyone help clarify?

It's a picture of the new G2 battery that is shortly on route to Thaba in SA.

Missed the reply before it was deleted, so still in the dark about Munters. Is it a poster on a different board ?
