21/2/2017 10:07 | As a holder for the long-term , not a long term-holder I observe that any company with funds can quite reasonably be quiet for awhile. I look to news by end April however. The figures will be published and as a backward looking item won't be brilliant so I'd have thought a forward looking observation will be made either at the same time or to straddle the results. ---------We need a new book "Switch and Store". I use this thread for input on "stuff" , I am sure Red will be back in focus- and the share price flying ere long.Better than Brexit fixation. | alchemy

21/2/2017 09:09 | Over the past few decades, solar energy has become increasingly relevant due to its reducing costs and social acceptability. Successive Governments have given a solid push to making solar energy a well regarded reality Energy poverty is a recurring chronic problem in India today, and this is being made worse by the ever-increasing pace of development that is unable to keep a balance between the need to improve human development indicators and the necessity to prevent environmental pollution and ecological destruction. About two-third of the Indian population is still deprived of modern energy services; according to official estimates nearly 300 million people have no access to electricity and in addition to this, if the three-fourth of rural households connected to the grid that have erratic and less than six hours of electricity supply is included, then about 700 million people in the country suffering from energy poverty. | dlg3
21/2/2017 09:06 | The world’s largest oil company, Saudi Aramco, is reportedly eyeing acquisition targets in the renewable energy space, according to Bloomberg. The investment is intended to serve as part of a larger plan to diversify outside of crude protection, said anonymous sources close to the matter. Saudi Quest for Diversified Energy Investment banks including HSBC Holdings Plc, JPMorgan Chase & Co. and Credit Suisse Group AG have been invited to pitch for the position in guiding Aramco as it identifies potential buyout candidates and formulates deals. The energy company plans to bring in foreign renewable energy specialists into the kingdom, as sources say the first of the investments could come about as soon as this year. $30 to $50 Billion for Renewable Energy Saudi Arabia announced plans to produce 10 gigawatts of power from renewable energy sources, including solar, wind and nuclear in less than seven years. Alongside the oil giant’s plans to diversify, the kingdom will employ new funds to renewable energy research and manufacturing. Saudi Arabia’s heightened involvement in renewable energy is part of a larger economic transformation plan announced by Deputy Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman in April. | dlg3

21/2/2017 08:56 | dlg321 Feb '17 - 07:50 - 12779 of 12793 0 0 Edit fieldhouse so what you are saying is no one will buy because GEN-3 being worked on??? so when GEN-3 is at production stage and GEN-4 being worked on, no one will buy then, they will keep hanging on for the latest model??? When you buy a car do you hang on for next yearts model because it will be better???? The government have climate targets to meet by 2020 and 2030, 2020 is only 3 years away, not only that Jabil now employ 50 people on REDT,s storage machines they are not going to let those 50 employee,s sit around waiting for GEN-3, as they say they want to mass produce REDT,s storage machines. Jabil would not wait for REDflow, they will not wait for REDT, besides the government are changing regulation to make storage more viable through revenue stacking......In other coutries they are more desperate than they are in the UK for storage.....another thing to take into consideration is that if you operate generators and the fuel costs 50p per Kwh and battery,s plus storage are half that and you spend £30,000 per annum on one generator then the savings will more than outweigh the cost saving....... There is a reason for the statement that REDT can sell their storage machines cheaper than the compotition, work it out guys !!! | dlg3
