04/4/2017 08:00 | Herm, See the above post. Problems with my laptop copying and pasting. ATB GD | greatfull dead
04/4/2017 07:31 | GD, Newgrange is ready to go but not likely to be this year as not being site surveyed as far as we know.... | hermana3
04/4/2017 07:23 | ise, You may well be right. My mind is not exactly fully focused on my investments due to other personal reasons. Thank you for pointing that out. If your correct then even better. Once again thank you. ATB, GD Herm, I had to search for this and its so darn early. PROVIDENCE RES. (PVR) - InvestEgate www.investegate.co.u FE Investegate announcements from PROVIDENCE RES., Providence Resources P.l.c - Porcupine & Global ... PROVIDENCE RES. (PVR) ... Providence Resources P.l.c ... If these are the announcements you are referring to then yes PVR will need to do a further 3D seismic on Newgrange as the RNS is not to clear on exactly what they had done on Newgrange | greatfull dead
04/4/2017 02:00 | GD: I thought PVR had licensed part of the multi client 3D survey done by Searcher Seismics in 2016 which included Newgrange as announced by PVR in January last year? Then there is the data and results from the Schlumberger collaboration. Would PVR really need to do another 3D over Newgrange? | isef0001
03/4/2017 23:01 | Zh PVR need to do a 3D seismic on Newgrange first. I am hoping for a drill there in 2018. With all PVR have now going for themselves, institutions and us PI 'IF' Druid is as good as I believe it to be plus Drombeg. IMHO PVR will have enough readies to drill the 2nd appraisal well on Barryroe. Drill FEL 3/04 in the Southern Porcupine Basin and carryout a 3D seismic on Newgrange, if the 3D seismic data is as good as believe it will be the possibly drill Newgrange too in 2018. PVR are a changed company. Also Hevlick is there to updrade. ATB, GD | greatfull dead
03/4/2017 19:29 | Zh,Steady on! Better chance of Richie praising TOR than hitting that figure. Even 10% of that would be terrific. | hermana3
03/4/2017 19:24 | I would love to see a Newgrange well this year, with a farmout the cost to PVR could be less than $10m, and relatively quick. 9billion barrels for $10M!!! | zhockey
03/4/2017 19:17 | Agree Rog that 2018 is much more likely and no rush ever happens at Dunquin! | hermana3
03/4/2017 19:09 | John O’Sullivan, Technical Director of Providence said: “The Dunquin exploration play comprised two interpreted carbonate features, Dunquin North and Dunquin South. The presence of a potential residual oil column may indicate that hydrocarbon entrapment has occurred at Dunquin North but that the oil has subsequently leaked. Top seal integrity had been identified pre-drill as a possible risk for Dunquin North, with fluid escape features and seabed core hydrocarbon anomalies present over the prospect. Notably, the separate Dunquin South build-up appears to have a thicker seal and lacks the significant fluid escape features seen further to the north". It's a well defined target so maybe the seismic interpretation might not take too long, but this summer doesn't seem realistic? | rogerlin
03/4/2017 19:04 | I didnt say that! Maybe 2018. | hermana3
03/4/2017 18:19 | So a Dunquin South drill this year? | zhockey
03/4/2017 17:24 | And as big an attention seeker as Donald! | hermana3
03/4/2017 17:23 | Steel Richie is just misunderstood ! | 1cagney
03/4/2017 17:03 | Steel,Who will be his next victim? | hermana3
03/4/2017 16:48 | herm - hopefully Richie will !!! | steelwatch
03/4/2017 16:47 | Steel,Job is so laidback he is practically horizontal. Will he crack a smile when Barryroe farmout is finally concluded? | hermana3
03/4/2017 15:43 | Providence Resources Seismic programme to throw up more Dunquin information Apr 3 2017, 08:38 IST/BST | Job Langbroek | Morning briefing | 1 page(s) | Read Important Disclosures The news that a group, of which Providence is a part, will acquire 3D seismic covering the Dunquin features off the west coast of Ireland will probably be taken in the market’s stride. However, it does demonstrate the scale of Providence’s western involvement and the renewed level of interest in the western sector of offshore Ireland. | steelwatch
03/4/2017 14:50 | Herm, All Majors are the same. They have their own agendas and sod anyone who gets in their way. Seen it happen on a small scale but its how they all operate. ATB, GD | greatfull dead
03/4/2017 14:17 | Hi Richie, you have a lot more to gain here than every long term holder who is humbly awaiting news, despite their massive losses. That is why we cannot stomach the repeated attacks on the BoD. It comes across to me at least as uncontrolled, and not quite sure where the aggression comes from..I just do not understand how as a relatively new holder, that you can be so angry - when in fact you have lost nothing!! Regards Ceph | cephalosaurus
03/4/2017 14:08 | Pan,Meant effective! Richie, TOR is safe now so may I suggest supporting him and the Board in the vital 4 months? Sensible thing to do if you want to share in the spoils. | hermana3
03/4/2017 13:57 | A very balanced and fair post Paeff that I will respond to in same. My issue is simple - ToR has relayed to the market for years the Barryroe farm in was to occur (and many no doubt acted upon his comments much to their chagrin) whilst shareholders lost tens of millions and he made 3m+. Something is wrong in that equation. Life is hard, harsh & brutal and so far ToR seems to sail on (scuse the pun) with inpunity ref his own failings here. | richie666
03/4/2017 13:52 | Herm: Trump a 'truly decent U.S. President'? really. | panadin
03/4/2017 13:44 | richie666 You really shouldn't make it a personal battle between yourself and the rest on this board. Talking personally I have read many of your earlier posts with interest and can understand that, with your shareholding, you probably have a greater desire than most of us to see success, particularly with Barryroe. I don't know when you began accumulating here but as a long term holder I would point out that everyone on this board probably holds as many shares as he/she is comfortable with. Certainly among the long term holders there have been times when TOR has not been the most popular of CEO's but a lot of that has been down to many rumours that have appeared in respect of supposed deals, which have not been closed when they should have been, No written evidence of those deals has ever been seen. Perhaps if you have any such evidence you could enlighten us. You came on very strongly at one point threatening your intentions with regards to TOR and at that time a fair few on here were happy that someone was taking a stand, However it then became more like a vendetta, which became very personal between yourself and another poster. I think you picked the wrong poster but since then we still have the same CEO and things are looking up 'slightly'. Barryroe won't go away and it has been, and will remain to be, a thorn in our side until finalised. I and many others having lost or holding paper losses will be delighted when the deal is done, you more so than the rest of us. At that point you will, hopefully, walk away a wealthier man and the rest of us happy to break even. Any deal that had to be done with Barryroe was not down to TOR alone he is part of a BOD. Then of course there is another side to the equation, namely the farminee. It takes both sides to agree on a deal but what made things so much worse in this case was that, a rookie CEO to success of this kind unfortunately heralded it from the rooftops, and promised too much too soon. This caused the future to grind to a cash stretched halt. We know the rest. I don't seek to criticise in any way your efforts you obviously have very strong feelings and we are also not privy to any responses you have had from the BOD which may have added fuel to your fire. I would however just like to say that I hope you will, like most of us at this possible turning point, support the efforts and put personalities aside. regards | peaeff |
