PF, Confirmation of ongoing farmout talks on Barryroe and Druid and awaiting announcement from NUOG on which marginal fields they will drill. Aint too bad is it?

Steel,

Thank you for the link to the PAI article, it has calmed me down some. I have read it and concluded that PVR are placing all bets of Druid/Dromgeg to be there saviour. I am too by the way. With the monies for Druid's success I still reiterate that Barryroe will be drilled by PVR/LOGP.

Paeff - I'm just pointing out the potential risk/award here. Not often you see a so potential large find compared to the market value of the company.
Regarding Barryroe I think it is too early to write it of - could still be a game changer for PVR.

Riley, Barryroe firmly back on agenda. Big companies dont rush in signing off deals so
we have to wait a little longer.

do you recall that 6 years ago we found 3.5bb when the price of oil was, for some time, very high. We couldn't get anyone interested enough then and it's taking an awful lot of persuasion now. So it's not always the finding of it, but to benefit from that finding it has to be brought to production. That is something PVR cannot afford alone, at the present time, and therefore will always be at the whim of others, until such time they can, when negotiating deals.

As has been said there is very little new in today's RNS and therefore the highlights tend not to be too obvious.

so on we go as before.

regards

remember - 2-3 months ahead we could have found 2,8 billions of oil worth to PVR. That is extremely huge compared to the size of the market value of the company.

Steel: Pity about Silverback. They got an extension to enable them to complete studies on source rock modelling.-perhaps they weren't impressed with the results of that - or was it a case of managing limited financial resources given the prospects in the Atlantic margin that have been retained? Whatever! Its gone.

NY Boy,

I do agree with most of your post especially regards patience. As for 700p by end of June once drilling starts, we can dream. I hope your dream comes true.

To all, excuse my outburst earlier. I won't apologize because the RNS could have been released earlier and I have a trying day ahead of me.

I don't understand how daddy's boy can drum up so much support amongst shareholders. He certainly has a unique talent in this Respect. For the possibility of becoming the greatest failure in company history ever, he sure has some fan club.

Interesting that Helvick and Dunmore are solid on the list, afterall, it was only a year ago they were farmed out. Currently Nuog awaiting news of a marginal field deal. Could that mean Helvick? There is a high chance it could be. It would be a nice boost for Logp

Pre-mapping at broe - does that mean a survey in order to determine where to sink the drill bit ? If so, they must be pretty confident of a fo.

Well for those screaming for an update, you got it. Just as expected, no less. No use complaining that it's same old. Until a deal is done, they can only same the same as before. However, they did manage to go a bit further and mention pre-permitting activities.

Not saying I am happy with how long Barryroe has taken, but here we are. I suggest it is better to get behind the company than get angry.

O'Reilly, to give hime his dues said the financial results would be published in April. And that any other deals would be RNSd either side.
Calling for his head doesn't mean someone else could progress things quicker. He was true to his word, and he appears to be updating in so far as he can, and in response to demands for an update.

Key point.

farm-out negotiations are ongoing with various counterparties on
a number of our assets.

A NUMBER OF ASSETS.

Think about it!

GD,Did you not notice the bit about pre mapping at Barryroe for future anticipated drilling? As NY counsels "patience".

It's pretty much what most people expected. No fireworks....just confirmation of Druid & Drombeg &
Statement regarding continued discussions on Broe and other assets.
They appear to have increased the estimate of gas in place for Broe?
Not sure whether this is including the potential farm in to Kinsale Energy area or is due to additional parcel of acreage granted to pvr and logp? Anybody out there got any idea about this?
