DDD and Herm,

A buyout by PVR of LOGP imo is very doubtful. PVR just don't have de money. My thoughts are still with a Barryroe farm out to possibly Petronas or as FTJ alluded to Petronas returning to LOGP Midleton. Why I have no idea!

No need to t-trade, can spreadbet for less money down. PVR currently about £2000 margin requirement for £500 per tick on IG index.

Dan, Pat Plunkett is known as a dealmaker and has decades of Corporate Finance experience. The option of buying LOGP has often been discussed at Board level but sometimes it takes a fresh mind to move it from talk to action. Definitely a possibility.

So will T O'R make an offer ( possible share deal?) for LOGP and get hold of the whole of Barryroe and then seal that FO deal. It has been a long time wait....

This is looking interesting in my books and the timing is about right.

(Get in quick T O'R before the LOGP share price escalates).

FTJ,Already have another online broker,Selftrade. Still deal with Mr Unfriendly(old fashioned broker) when going big on credit but havent called on him for a long time.

Ftj - catch 22! Do you buy now on tick (T+10/15/20) to lock in the current price, or do you wait for funds and hope the share price waits for you, or drops? If you decide on the former, make sure you place a limit order, rather than "at best".

Of course, no tick available in an ISA.

Hmm...yeah. Thought about that all right. Trouble is you pay a bit if a premium. Will hang fire till Wednesday and plunge in then. I doubt if news will break before Friday or maybe next week.

FTJ...you can buy the shares and delay payment, by 1,2 or 3 weeks. Check with your broker.
