16/1/2017 08:06 | Seems to have held at that now the market is open. Massive expectations building around a Barryroe farm out any day now. This one should go through the roof and so should LOGP once the deal is announced. | funtimejonny
16/1/2017 07:50 | Up 1.75 before open, which is rather more than the usual 1/4penny of late. | riley9
15/1/2017 23:31 | My money's on Petronas! | funtimejonny
15/1/2017 23:13 | Could be an interesting week next week for PVR and LOGP if BROE is as imminent as recent posters suggest! | funtimejonny
15/1/2017 22:19 | PVR still valued at only 7.6p per recoverable barrel for Druid/Drombeg drill which is embarrassing. Oil sector overshot way too far to the downside and PVR now has a long way to climb to reach a sensible pre drill valuation. Lots of other oil stocks also starting to rerate after the massive decline. Hopefully the PVR climb continues in an orderly fashion until we get past 25p, then they can let the brakes off. | phoebusav
15/1/2017 20:54 | Richie,This yoke don't move without rumour! TOR wants full salary back and has finally got the lead out. PETRONAS or Statoil? | hermana3
15/1/2017 20:47 | Correct Herm. That has not gone unnoticed by me notwithstanding my continued criticism of TOR Jnr. Price action is always a smoke signal. | richie666
15/1/2017 20:03 | There is normally a leak in the Sundays before news but maybe Pat P likes things done differently! | hermana3
15/1/2017 18:22 | There is so much upside on pvr from these levels, 18p will look like a steal soon. Looking forward to the climb continuing next week. News in the morning?! If so up and onwards into the twenties. GL | 1morethan10
15/1/2017 11:15 | What !! the share price rising has nothing to do with PVR drilling the biggest well anywhere in the world during 2017 in less than 6 months time ? | timberwolf3
15/1/2017 10:45 | its only rising to enable the placing stock to be sold into the buyers imo.gl | runwaypaul
15/1/2017 10:41 | We must all know that Providence has been involved in very long-term farm out discussions with regards to its flagship Barryroe field for a number of years. The absence of any conclusion has previously weighed heavily on the company’s share price. Top of the list for the Providence portfolio is Barryroe, where the financial restructuring combined with the industry's falling cost profile, provides increased flexibility in terms of the commercial farm out negotiations. Yes the market is interested again and Providence chief executive Tony O’Reilly in the Irish firm’s interims described it as a time of “renewed optimism”. That undeveloped Barryroe field, remains ‘key’ to the Providence portfolio, according to O’Reilly and his presentations. Is the waiting about to end? Don't forget when Barryroe is farmed out, it will take away that 'bad taste' about the company and Tony O’Reilly knows it. The oily market activity noise is increasing alot, so watch PVR and especially the signal beacon LOGP, IMO. GLA. | dandadandan
15/1/2017 09:49 | FTJ,Early days for Aido and he may change his mind if TOR or his successor succeeds on putting "some flesh on the bone" here. | hermana3
15/1/2017 09:23 | There's a pretty good interview in today's Indo with Aidan Heavey... he seems to rule out getting involved with any other Irish O & G companies when he finally steps down. Couldn't find owt about PVR or LOGP though in any of the papers. | funtimejonny
14/1/2017 15:34 | GD Sunshine is back in Thailand, we've missed it for a few days! Looking forward to some positive newsflow soon, decent close on Friday, after the minor dip the other day. | ny boy
14/1/2017 14:01 | Will be busy perusing The Sunday Times tomorrow to see if owt light is shed on goings on here in last 2/3 weeks. Will Pat Plunkett persuade Aidan Heavey to join the Board here? He would have so much to contribute. | hermana3
13/1/2017 17:29 | NY, Good luck to you. GD | greatfull dead
13/1/2017 16:53 | Don't know why anyone bothered to sell yesterday, it's just a buy & hold. GL all long term holders | ny boy
13/1/2017 16:37 | Ended the day with market makers taking stock over the bid, that shows it's very robust at this level. I reckon it will fly through this next week. If Barryroe is farmed out, it will take away the bad perception of the company, and it will do a Sound energy before the summer drill. LOGP would instantly hit 3p on any farmout deal, because it markes it's survival. I would expect LOGP to gradually re-rate back to 10p + leading up to further appraisal, and well over £1 after. | cephalosaurus
13/1/2017 15:58 | Only reason 18p bid didn't hold today IMO is because the MMs moved the price up from 18p to 18.5p in one leap. Shame they weren't a bit more conservative, but I guess they have their reasons. Perhaps they're trying to shake a few lose before the next leg. Have a great weekend all. | phoebusav
13/1/2017 15:18 | Steel, Thank you. Enjoy your weekend, GD | greatfull dead
