The natives are restless all over the place. Two working weeks to go, max, before we know what the crack is on revenue and 'owt else.

Don't be put off by a bad experience on AIM lafin, it's not typical of the market as a whole. If nothing else, consider selling up your directly owned shares, find a fund manager with a good long term record and let them do the donkey work

Hi Lafin, I'm not surprised. If I'd have followed a certain fruitloop, I'd also be thinking of quitting.

Sorry you're so disappointed but FWIW, when the concensus is ubernegative, that's sometimes the time to buy.

GL with whatever you decide to do and Happy Xmas.

I hate shares.Seriously thinking of selling the lot of them.
Don't know what I was thinking of.Still at least I didn't get carried away.
Good Luck to you both if you actually think the hassle is worth it.I don't.

Agreed and I certainly hope so.

The clinic study with Resveratrol might be the boost needed. I'm afraid BP work is at too early a stage. It all helps though.

Libra, it just needs a mention/Update in the results, if this is coupled with some increase in profits/revenue, etc then could cause some appreciation in SP

SS, happy Christmas to you too. I don't know about time scales on the BP work but will try and dig out something. TBH, it doesn't matter much as, if I remember correctly, it's quite a small study on volunteers. A small step in the right direction though.

lol, just read other boards where peeps are touting a TO from DSM. Either way I think it is worth a long at these prices

Hi Libra - Happy XMAS to you, neurology-institute work should provide some interest. What about blood pressure work in Oslo, what were the timescales on that?

Yes, its is back to 2008 lows (I am a fan of 7 year cycles), albeit with a lot more shares in issue but also with a proven and released product and alliance agreement in the bag.

This this will be a takeover target before dragon gets his break even. Think 2-3p would get majority of shareholder support if DSM offered.

Atex69;
re. your question to the fruiloops on the blue channel. Here's the answer. Check out,
hxxp://www.neurogrow.com/our-clinical-trial-memosyn-neurology-institute.html

From Dr. Fotuhi's clinic website, it looks like the trial is finished and they're analysing the data. Results due January or February 2016.
From the NIH website, they're still recruiting but this was last updated April 2015.

ps you've probably seen that we're at a multi year support line.

lol, Libra, most trader lose money but IMO the only method that works with trading are:
1. Find a stock not on the radar of the BB morons that look like it need to raise cash via markets and has potential market news to support interest and then ramp the hell out of it - this is not a popular methods and can be hit and miss.
2. Wait until someone has pulled of the first method then go short after 3-4 days of 100% rises per day - not popular method because you are going against the grain.

AAL looks investable now IMO

I've told you before, most traders seem to be fail because they expect too much and don't learn from their mistakes.

Try lowering your sights a bit. If you aim to generate a return of 20 to 25% per annum who knows, maybe in fairly benign markets like we've had for at least the last five years, you might end up with something better than that ?

Results due next month SS.
Most people seem to have given up here, but you never know, sooner or later it might turn.

Bad luck on ALPH by the way. A risky punt but if it had gone the other way you could have ended up quids in, and I think you'd taken a fair amount of profit over there anyway ?

Not quite. We have ethics Co. approval to proceed on one trial as submitted. Never in the history of man has one trial determined whether or not a compound "can be used to manage blood pressure.."

It's simply the start, that's all.

addendum; IIRC there are 28 participants and this is likely a phase 0 trial. Suffice to say, there are 4 phases to drug trials, with increasing numbers of subjects and of course increasing cost.

It seems we now have permission to go ahead with our blood pressure trials with licence valid up to 28/02/2019.
So it seems we have up to 3 years to prove or not Fruitflow can be used to manage blood pressure..

Permission for go ahead was delayed on 26/03/2015
But now the report seems to say we have the green light for blood pressure trails:- dated 17/09/2015.
From the report:- 17/09/2015:-

"The Committee has accordingly no ethical objections to the project.
Resolution":

I'm afraid this hare tripped over the BHR fox hole. Clawed most of the loss back and learnt along the way. Averaging down on and taking profits with JLP, AMA, BLT and NIPT have softened the blow somewhat. Still waiting for PXS ...

Doing OK, without setting the world on fire. Portfolio's a bit down from it's high, but 2015's been that sort of year and I've only tinkered with it here and there really. Up about 15% overall so comfortably keeping the wolf from the door.

I am the tortoise to the traders hare !
