27/1/2011 09:31 | Broker note from Cenkos: "PURSUIT DYNAMICS PDX shares have been caned down from early December highs of 700p to early October levels around 400p. Some track-back is probably not surprising given the doubling of the price June to October and then 75% in the 2 months after that. Previous management had a record of promise without delivery and while the new leadership team under Roel Peiper is establishing the commercial base from which the company will grow it is a fairly easy "knock" for the long term bears. Yesterday the company said they knew no reason for the sharp fall in the price, and will be updating the market at the end of Feb. What the new management team has achieved so far: 2 international brewers signed up, Oettinger already installing the reactors; P&G signing up on dental care and seeing potential in about 60% of their product lines worldwide; the National Nuclear Laboratories deal; reactors installed on a commercial basis in ethanol plants in the US from both major installers, to name only the major features, is impressive. One only has to believe that even of some of these signed projects some will deliver revenues in line with management expectations to see the shares multiplying over the next couple of years as revenues drive earnings. We maintain our 1100p target for Dec 2011. Broker Cenkos expects adjusted pre-tax profit of £6.4m for 2011, giving EPS of 9.2p. | pro_better
27/1/2011 09:28 | 12/01/11 Mirabaud broker: "PDX has announced that the installation at Pacific Ethanol continues to confirm the stability, quality and viability of the Group's Ethanol Reactor System ('ERS'). The Company has also confirmed benefits around cycle times which enable PDX to offer a third solution to the market for which the fee per gallon is twice the basic proposition. We have changed our estimates to reflect this which leads to upgrades to our numbers. We re-iterate our BUY recommendation and increase our price target to 2000p." | pro_better

26/1/2011 16:44 | FYI regarding PDX... note: don't be late on this one if you like it.... -------------------- Cenkos Securities: We had a conference call with PDX yesterday in light of the recent collapse in their shareprice. I came away from this more convinced than ever that the recent bear raid has created a great opportunity to buy the shares, and our analyst Peter Read will have a note out later today. We spoke to amongst others the head of the brewing business line, the head of ethanol and one of the non-execs. A so called "dossier" supposedly dismissing PDX's technology has been a feature of internet "chat forums", PDX went line by line through this 16 page powerpoint and pointed out inaccuracies, false assumptions, claims which appeared to be based on PDX data but are not, as well as omissions of various positives. Suffice to say the rebuttal of the bear story was extremely robust, particularly convincing when the head of brewing is the ex head of GEA's brewing systems division and therefore extremely credible on the strengths of PDX's offering, the cooperation with GEA that is underway and the factual errors in the "dossier". Finally the rumour started on the web that the CEO may stand down or be sacked was firmly dismissed by the NED "the Board are very happy with the direction and the progress of the company and its management". This management team has strength in depth and is delivering, they believe revenues will be delivered this financial year which will prove the success of the model. We agree and reiterate our BUY with £11 price target for Dec 2011. Recent price action has seen substantial volume with no signs of selling from the 65% core shareholders. Ignore the noise created by the shorters and BUY at this level. | pro_better
